Any experience with this breeder? I'm considering a Yorkie for our family and came across this CKC breeder. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with them. Thanks! www.SevenPinesStables.com under Yorkie Pups |
I'm "bumping" this for you in hope that someone will be able to give you info. |
Thank you 4doggiemamma! I've done a little more digging on my own and find they own quite a large equestrian outfit - lessons, training, buying, selling and horseshows among other horse related items. The owner has been very open, patient and courteous with all my queries and questions about her YTs. They've been breeding YT's for a number of years. They are bred and raised in their house with the family. These current YT parents are 4 and 5 years old and have had 3 litters in past years. I've been going back and forth with emails to and from her for the last month or so and I finally have a deposit on one of her current pups. All her pups come with: Tails docked, dewclaws removed, vet checked and first shots, CKC registered, microchipped and a puppy pack of goodies. I'll be going to pick him up on Saturday - wish me luck! :animal-pa:animal-pa |
I can't get the site to come up:confused:but congratulations!! |

That worked, thanks!! |
Cute puppies. Good luck. Does anyone know what the differences are between CKC (Canadian) and AKC? Do they have the same standards?? |
CKC Breed Standards and then go to toy breeds |

Just to give an update - Well I did indeed end up getting a puppy Yorkie from SevenPinesStables and everything went well. The puppy is super smart :D and we are doing great with the new guy (Li'l Mac) since bringing him home 2 weeks ago. If anyone else is wondering about this breeder, I would recommend them. |
Would love to see some pics!! |
4 Attachment(s) Thanks for asking. Here's a couple of pics from the first week we had him. I'll have to get some more recent ones. The hair on his head is really coming in silver already! :) |
What a little cutie! Congrats! |

Wow Mochasmom - I thought they would be coloured up by the time they were around a year old? I guess I should have said Li'l Mac's silver hair is just STARTING to come in. It's now about 1/4 inch on his head. I met both Li'l Mac's parents and both of them are Silver and Tan which is the colouring I was looking for in a Yorkie. I didn't know they come in Silver and Black. I thought they were either: - Silver and Tan or - Black and Tan. So... how old are Yorkies, typically, when they are all coloured up in their adult colours? |
