SoCal YT Meet-up – Sat, August 11 Hello all SoCal YT members (or members who will be in the area at the time of the meet-up)! We are having our next SoCal YT meet-up THIS Saturday, August 11th, at my house, in La Habra, CA. We are late in getting this one planned since no one is coming up with any indoor dog-friendly places to stay out of the heat, so we’re just going to have this one at my house, where we’ll have the option of the A/C indoors and the pool outdoors to cool off. You are welcome to bring your swimsuits and trunks if you or your furbabies would like to swim. Otherwise, we can hang out around the pool or in our living room/kitchen/dining room (it’s all pretty open to make one big uncarpeted area) with the A/C on if you’d prefer. My mom actually changed her travel plans to be able to make it to our meet-up this month, and she is sooooooo excited to meet y’all, so I hope most everyone can make it! I’ve included the details below: Who: EVERYONE!!!! What: Monthly Meet-up (the 2nd Saturday of every month) When: Saturday, August 11 – 3:00 pm - ?? Where: La Habra, CA (PM me for specific address) Food: Matt and I will provide meat for a late lunch/early dinner BBQ, so please bring a drink for yourself and a side dish (fruits or veggies, chips, summertime salad, etc.) to share with the group. If you’d like to post on here what you plan to bring (if you have any idea), that may help to ensure we don’t end up with a whole lot of one thing and not much of something else. Also, we’re going to have some doggie cake for the babies and cupcakes for the humans to celebrate Sukoshi’s (and Jen and Jolie’s – if Corinne is able to make it) 1-year birthday!!!! Sukoshi and I can’t wait to see everyone again!!!! |
Also - One thing I forgot to mention...if we could get a couple people to bring their x-pens like normal, we can set those up by the pool if there are any nervous moms and dads out there who are afraid of their babies tumbling in. Also, there is a nice, quiet park at the end of our cul-de-sac that we can walk to if we decide to later on, and the x-pens would come in handy there. Thanks! |

Ok, now that I know that it isn't in Fontana, I will have to pass until next month. We have a pot luck and play at the Redlands theater this Saturday and we have to be there at 6 pm. Besides with the new puppies, it is a little too far away this soon. |

Sorry, won't be able to make it. We're celebrating my daughters 15th bday this saturday. Maybe I can make up an excuse and sneak away for a bit LOL ;) Hope you guys have lots of fun!!!:D |

The puppies don't go anywhere for a few more weeks...and then only to the vet. I might be able to bring Cruiser for a little while on Saturday...no promises yet. I want him to have some alone time with me--where we aren't going to the vet or the groomer or a dog show.... |

I'll be there probably with Itzi; poor Cruiser had to go to the vet today and had a puppy molar that was affected; so puppy teeth are coming out on Monday. So much for "mommy & me" time. Maybe I can sneek Beauty out too. New puppy pictures for YT and website tomorrow too. |
OH! I hope Cruiser is doing ok! They had to pull 10 of Sukoshi's teeth when they spayed her because she had two complete rows of top teeth and 1 double tooth on the bottom. I'm excited to meet you (and your hubby), Itzi, Beauty, or whoever else you can sneak out!!!!!! |
