Well guys...I won't be able to make it tomorrow or Sunday :( I'm not sure what day I am going to pick up the new angel....I will keep you posted. I may end up just flying in and flying out-not sure :confused: I have a good friend who has been fighting cancer the whole time I've known her -14 years....she is the strongest woman I'll ever know. Never would anyone have known the hell she goes through-until this last year. It's been bad and she is getting very bad. Always in the hospital, is skin and bones....just horrible. Anyway, it is her 50th bday Sunday and if she feels good we are all meeting to celebrate. My dad, brother, everyone and I couldn't miss it even if it is a "maybe." She was in our wedding... So as much as I want to meet you all - hopefully you'll plan another one while the weather is still good-I promise to come out! Hugs, Trina |

I wanted to say it was WONDERFUL meeting everybody who came to the meet-up today. By my count (and PLEASE correct me if I left anyone out...I certainly did not mean to do so), we had 13 humans and 14 Yorkies come out to play: Myself (Sukoshi’s Mom) – Sukoshi Lauren (LaurenR) – Mango Corinne (Dan & Corinne) – Jazzie, Jen, and Jolie Cal (slixs) & Cindy – Lilo & Stitch Misty (mistyinca) – Chloe Anna (Anna Banana) – Wobie Ronda (RONLYNN) – Teddi Stacy (lilstar63100) – Pebbles Raquel (chuey) – Destiny Gigi (RascalLucy) & Gary – Lucy Bee (xbeebeex) – Wyatt Did I pass the name test :D ? Thanks to all those who made time for our meet-up in their busy schedules, and to all those who brought food and/or x-pens to share with the group. I think this was a HUGE success, and we'll definitely make plans to do another meet-up in the near future! |

LOL! For those of you waiting for pics, I know Corinne has hers ready to go, so I suspect she'll be starting a thread in the "My Yorkie Pictures!" section later today. I HATE having to resize all my pics to post them here, so it always takes me a bit longer to get them uploaded from the camera, resized, and ready to post :( . I'll try to get motivated to do it sooner rather than later though... |

Hey guys!!!!!:wavey::wavey: How fabulous was that Yorkie Palooza!!!! I swear, that was just the BEST day!!! I thought I had passed on and arrived in Yorkie Heaven!!!! :rainbow::tinyheartI got to cuddle, smush and kiss the cutest little bundles of Yorkie joy imaginable:2puppy:. Mango was besides herself with joy.... she finally realized that other Yorkies DO wanna play, have zoomies,:animal37 do demented puppy things... What a sight! I am still smiling just thinking of it. She was so happy, when she got home, she was still doing her little Mango Tango...:woof:And the VERY best part was FINALLY meeting all of you, the proud Mommies and Daddies!!!!!:cheer: Let's start a thread over in "General Y Discussion" or "My YOrkie". Look at all those fur butts!!! I can't believe how well they all got along...I wish Winston was so friendly...he's a definite outsider...he would have tried to get as far away as possible...he's not mean, I don't think he would start any trouble...he's just anti-social...maybe a little stuck-up, I don't know...really he's never had a chance to be with other dogs like that...I'm gonna go watch it again...it was just so cute!!! Oh man I missed it!!!!!:( I was just there in OC on Friday too. I took my girls to the Freestyle Explosion concert on Friday night. And if I would have known I would have took the furkids to my mother in laws and spend the night there. Please let me know if and when you are planning another get together. You can count me in! I'm not able to log on much but I do check my e-mail quite often. It looks like you all had a very good time. I'm so sorry I missed it! |

Hey I just wanted to thank you all for the kind words you wrote about my friend and the happy bdays ;) That was really sweet. I am so glad I went and celebrated with her....she had a good day, which are few anymore, so it was perfect timing to celebrate her 50th! She's a trooper, bless her heart. I'm sad I missed you all but I do want to know when you do it again! I'm not THAT far if I want to make a weekend out of it :p I was looking at some of the pics in your other threads....they look great! I will go back and post there.... At this point, we're planning our next meet-up for Saturday, July 14th (unless anyone voices a conflict with that date), and probably the 2nd Saturday of each month thereafter. We haven't decided on a for sure location for the next one yet, but I know on Saturday we were discussing Park Bench Cafe for the next one, so it may be there. Wherever/Whenever we do it...it is sure to be a great time! Please come down and join us if you ever have the chance! |

Awwww!!! I'm so jealous right now!! I just discovered an old youtube video from the last meetup and I just did a "Search" to find info on another meetup. It already happened though!! :( Oh well, better luck next time! That's what happens when your still unwinding from finals! lol. I will DEF. be there next time around though!!! :D |
