If you google sacramento dog parks City of Sacramento Off Leash Dog Parks you should be able to find some close to your area, when I go to other towns, is what I do, then, I always ck for dog parks that is divided for small dogs and big dogs ;) just make sure you follow their rules, pick after your dog and above all, that your pup is up to date with vaccines and have some kind of flea prevention;) |
The park that was mentioned is :The Phoenix Dog Park is located in Phoenix Park in Fair Oaks. It is just under 2 acres in size and has three separate fenced areas. There is one area for large dogs, one area for small dogs and an area for shy dogs. There are shade structures, benches and a washoff pad just outside of the dog park. The park is sponsored by FORDOG which stands for Fair Oaks Responsible Dog Owners Group. The park is located on Sunset Avenue east of Hazel. To get to the dog park from Highway 50, take Hazel north to Sunset and turn right. The dog park will be on your right. |
