Im from Sacramento and have done a lot of research on a lot of breeders between here in Sac and down to San Jose. Please pm me with a sites or breeders you might be considering. I have gotten bad results when announcing my breeder opinions publically. So please feel free to PM, I would love to help you find your next baby! :)

There are some Good breeders in Sacramrnto, There is melinda Ortiz and My Elegant Paws, Both are Excellent and Have good lines.:aimeeyork

when we last pm'ed each other, I cant remember if I told you about jeri_cunningham, a breeder here on YT from that area. (jeri_cunningham is here YT screen name) She is having a bbq this month for YTers and her past puppy owners. She likes to see the babies she has sold and holds the bbq annually. Also to show prospective clients her home and the parents and her breeding standard. Pokey and I will be out of town and cant make the picnic, but from my talks with her and in the CA Yorkies group, I have decided to get my 2nd baby from her! She doesnt have a website and will not sell to anyone without having met them. she also prefers her owners to be within a certain distance so she can stay in touch and have updates on her pups! I love that about her!! She isnt in it for the quick buck.....she is a true YTer, in it for the LOVE!! Cant remember if we already talked about this though!! :)

Thanks for your kind words, I may have puppies sooner than expected. Our Kayla wasn't due to go into heat until Oct. and with our issues with Krissy I didn't pay much attention. Kayla and Spanky tied on 9/6. She really didn't show many signs of heat like all my other dogs did.
I figure if she is going to have puppies then it will be around 11/9. Kayla is 6.4 lbs and Spanky is 5.8 lbs. Spanky is a Biewer and we got him for Darla. We really didn't expect the cad to cheat with Kayla!

Puppies would not be AKC as Kayla is AKC and Spanky is registered with the German Biewer club. I was just looking for a suitable AKC mate for Kayla too. I am starting Kayla on vitamins and extra protein.

I always say you have to be so careful but I actually am excited to see Kayla and Spanky puppies as they are both so cute. I also would only sell their babies to someone close to home willing to come to the yearly BBQ! I know there are lots of people that don't care if they are AKC or not so hopefully they will get great families.

Oh WOW Jeri, I can't wait to see those babies!!!! They are going to be so darn cute because the parents are just totally little dolls! Too bad I don't live near you or I'd be taking a pink bundle home with me. ;):D

I really wanted to bred Kayla with a AKC small male but as much as I say you can prevent accidental breedings I think I was to side tracked to pay attention. I do think these will be some awesome puppies based on mom and dad.
Krissy went into heat today over a month early and I WILL watch her like a hawk. Panties, pads and no contact with the males at all. For the next 20 days she is in quarantine!!!
