I'm ready anytime since I don't work outside the home anymore or have kids in school. :) Hey, I think we can definately get something going. We have 67 (last count) in CA. and I'm sure more by now. :) We could have one heck of a giant meet-up. :) Anyone in SLO have a huge back yard. hahahahaha!! |
I am willing to drive hey I would even be willing to car pool with some ladies from San Diego....that way we could save on gas... I work during the week and on the weekeneds so I would need a tentative date so I can take off work...UNLESS I get this new job which I just interviewed for yesterday....everyone pray I get it b/c I NEED it so bad... |

I'm with Sloan! SLO is a great spot!! The temps are mild and it couldn't be more beautiful. If you want to make a little vacation out of it, there's tons of coastline and gorgeous wine country only about 30 min North!! I'm going to join the social group right now. :) |

Ok, so first things first.....sounds like we need to take a vote or somehow decide on July or August. Peanut---------since you are president and your mommy, Frankie started California Yorkies......you two can come up with a way of polling everyone to see which month will work best. How does that sound? |

N. Cal bday/yorkie meetup! Hey CA group! Havnt been posting on here too much in the last month. Pokey and I were traveling most of the month! Pokey went on her first flight and was GREAT! (a lot more calm than mommy!) then we drove my new car home (4 hours one day and 8 the next day) we stopped a lot and she was so good! Thanks Jenni for the carrier recomendation-fit perfect under the airplane seat! Anyway-Pokey will be 1 on Oct 15th which means bday party time!! Yay! We are deciding on the 18th or 19th and hav narrowed the possible location down to 3 Sacramento area dog parks that we frequent. PM me if interested. The more CA YTers the merrier! |

Maxie is 7 ys young and Rex is a lil 8 wk puppy ..he's a new memberto the fam..had him snce fri.. i'm try'n to get him on his way to being house broken lemme tell ya ...its hard , for those who have forgotten ... :rolleyes: lol ....i live ina twnhome community ..."that allows dogs" and have to wait 2 wks to get rex his parvo shot ..found out last night he contracted a tapeworm soooo treating him for that,and vet said has to be completely dewormed to get it ...soooo i have to keep him inside, too risky outside.I've heard about and read about crate training ...so i baught him a "pet taxi" aka crate lol ... any suggestins and tips or secrets would be awesome :cool:Ray :animal36 Maxie:aimeeyorkRex<<but jump'n around lol |
Hey there Nor Cal YTers and newbies! Jenni n I are puting together another meetup in the Sac area. We are shooting for Nov. 29th. My health has been bad and Pokey hasn't been able to "socialize" much lately so it would be great 2 see everyone again! Let me know if you are interested. ohhhhh btw.... adds... 1rst of all the crate train'n is... 4 travel purposes and sleep'n and nvr nvr 4 punish or storage...i've read alot of training tips and best one of all was from a YT lnk....he already has been intro'd 2 his new retreat lil cozy dug-out ..i dont want to get himto rely on it or be afraid ... he sleeps in it at night ...and Rex is awesomely intellegent... what can i say he's a yorkie ...hehehe all of them are smart...smiles. He's kinda got a clue of how to use a puppy pad..... from what i read i should be blessed for his achievements...which i really am.... also if any one has tips on raising him with a 7 yr old already set in her ways but tolorating puppy but is bein awesome by not snapping at her yngr brother (Rex) type adult ....:rolleyes: have a great day everyone ...looking 4ward to being a calif. yorkie buddie :) :cool:Ray :animal36maxie:aimeeyork D-Rex aka Rex:aimeeyork |
