LOST Yorkie in Vallejo, CA near Borges Lane My mind is going crazy right now, my aunt just called me and said that she lost our Noogie! She was distracted with visitors and Noogie wandered out of the front yard. He was lost sometime between 2-3pm today. They looked all around the neighborhood and can't find him and she had to stop to search because she had to go to work today. I posted lost ads in Craigslist but I can't post flyers because I live over 1 hour away from them. Noogie is Wookie and Naboo's 1st born son from their only litter. After he was 16 weeks old I gave him to my aunt because my cousin who has autism desperately wanted a dog. Now my cousin is going crazy without Noogie, he keeps telling his mom to call 911. He has a blue collar on him and about 5 lbs. He's shaved in the puppy cut trim and is a bit skinny because he's a picky eater. Please pray for our family that we can find him again. I'm going to their house tomorrow to post flyers. |
Oh No... :hands::hands::hands::hands::hands::hands: |
oh no! I'm so sorry... I'll keep a look out. I live about 30 mins from Vallejo. I will pray for his safe return. |
Oh No I am Praying for Noogie to come home safe... |
I hope you get him back :( |
1 Attachment(s) Thank you everyone. I am planning on going to Vallejo first thing tomorrow to visit shelters, vets, petsmart and posting the lost flyer I made tonight. I've attached it here too. Let me know if I should add anything to it. These pictures of him were taken yesterday at my house since he came over to a family BBQ. :cry8: |
1 Attachment(s) Christine.......I am so sorry, this is sad. :( I am saying prayers that Noogie will be found safe and soon. :hands: :hands: |
It just breaks my heart when I hear one of our little ones has wondered off and gotten lost. Prayers are going out for his safe return, and to your aunts little boy who is so broken hearted. :autism::hands: |
I am praying for Noogie's safe return. |
Sending prayers for a safe return. |
Thank you for everyone's prayers and thoughtfulness! My aunt just called me and said that someone found Noogie in their front yard!!! :D Hooray! They are a dog owner and know how they would feel if they had lost their own pet. They called the number on Noogie's collar, at least she keeps the collar on him at all times. She's learned her lesson, after lecturing her about leaving him alone, I told her if she was so busy just let him play in the backyard. :rolleyes: It turns out that my cousin was the one that left the garage door opened but he didn't notify anyone when he saw Noogie running from the front yard. *sighs* He was found 3 blocks away! :eek: I swear I would have taken him back after this but then we wouldn't be able to visit him at another persons house as often as we do now. Like his brother, Bear, we gave him to my aunt's friend and we rarely see him. I'm always bringing Bear and Noogie gifts everytime I go to Vallejo, but its hard to see Bear. Anyway, I'm going to take him myself to get him microchipped this weekend!!! Thanks again everyone!! |
OMG thankfully everything turned out ok! My mother lost my little meeka earlier this month but she was found about 15 hours later! I know how terrifying it is to have a baby lost! I am so thankful that he was found safe and sound!! Prayers can work miracles! |
I'm so happy our prayers were heard! I'm sure this will be a lesson to them to watch out a bit more. ;) |
YAY!!! I'm soo glad he's back! :) |
Yes it is quite a relief! Thank you for everyone's thoughts and prayers! Unfortunately, Noogie is grounded, :rolleyes: not sure for how long, but I'll unground him when I go there again. |
I am really happy for you that Noogie is back :) Even more happier that he is going to be ungrounded when you go there :) Really not his fault if no one was watching him :) |

I think that when people are afraid, they put blame on the helpless. When I first found out, I blamed my aunt and my cousin, but my cousin has autism so its really my aunts fault for knowing that she has guests and not securing Noogie in the first place. Deep down she knows its her fault but grounding Noogie for not doing his normal routine like taking my cousins to school in the morning is not helping Noogie. Poor guy. I was so traumatized because Noogie came over to my house on Memorial's day for a family BBQ and he was so wild and was constantly barking because he's never been over at anyone else's house before (He was lifting his leg everywhere, but he had a pee pad on). It looks like he had fun though because he was playing with everyone. Then the next day she tells me he was lost! God, that just broke my heart. Squeekie is really his only playmate, so I'm going to bring her there tomorrow to play with him when I get off from work. |

I'm so glad that he's back home safe and sound! It's hard when something like this happens; you get a little busy and take your attention from them for just a minute and it happens! A couple of weeks ago, Madison got out of the back yard; we vent our garage b/c it's gets so incredibly hot and we don't want the cars or the leather in the cars to be ruined, so I had put the main garage door up just a few inches and opend the back garage door too so the air would flow thru. Max doesn't like the garage so I've never worried about him going in there and getting out thru the garage door. But Madison is infatuated with the garage and has no such qualms...I didn't even think about it being a problem until I noticed a few minutes later that Max was in the house and Madison was not right under my feet....so I went into the back and sure enough, he was gone! Thank goodness he knows his name and listens to me, b/c he came right back, but it really upset me. So, now I know that I can't leave both doors open unless I'm out there supervising him. I'm so happy that Noogie was found by some people who were good people! |
:cheer::cheer::cheer: Yeah!! He's back home!!:cheer::cheer::cheer: |
