Need a recommendation for a Vet/Groomer (CA.)
 
I live in the Van Nuys / North Hollywood area in the San Fernando Valley.. and I'm looking for a good veterinarian and groomer for my yorkie. Anyone on YT live in the valley?

i live in the north hollywood area as well.. I go to a groomer at the pet food supply place i go to.. she's awesome..


It's on woodley and Nordhoff.. it's called C&C Pet food and supplies.. her name is suze.. i can give you her number if you like.. and here is what she's done with my two.. my third hasn't had all her shots yet..

Wow, I 'think' that pet shop might be my grandmother's friend's pet store because hers is also located on Nordhoff and Woodley. I haven't been there yet but I was supposed to today because a Vet was going to be there today. I need to get Lucky his third set of shots before I get him groomed. :cool:

Animal Medical Group is really good from what I hear.

if that's your grandmother's friends petstore.. it's awesome cause i love that place.. I get ALL my supplies for all three of my furkids there..

well except wee-wee pads.. other than that i love it.. :p I need to get Cloey's third set of shots as well.. and my other two need their rabies shots..

Yeah, I just went to the store for the first time three weeks ago. The lady that owns the place is my grandma's best friend. Not sure if her name is Suze though.. she brought me a bag of the Artemis osopure puppy food the last time she visited and Lucky seems to like it a lot. I also found out her son is the owner of Artemis also. Anyways, I have to get my dog groomed, I cant see his eyes anymore.. but I'm not sure if he had all of his shots yet. :X

that's awesome that you know the owner.. but I meant that the groomer's name is Suze. She's a great gal..

I usually do my own grooming on my kiddies not unless i can't do all three, then I take them to her. I remember that my first dog Oreo, he didn't have his last set of shots but I took him to her anyway.. :eek: but he was fine.. I got his last set shortly thereafter.

She also gave me Artemis.. but My dogs totally got the runs after eating it.. so I switched them back to Innova EVO.. and they are doing great on it.

Do you take your doggie to the dog park? I know we live in the same area, but I'm not sure of any good ones.

Hmm.. the only dog park I can think of is the one in Van Nuys.. I think it's near Balboa. I haven't taken my dog anywhere because my friend gave me a scare.. telling me that he can get a disease just by sniffing another dogs poop. There's that Westside Yorkshire dog park meetup thing this weekend and I'm thinking about going.

There is a HUGE dog park in the Valley on Victory (Encino). Here is the website for it: http://www.dog-park.com I'm also part of a Chi/Toy dogs meetup group, they are having a meetup in the Valley dog park this weekend. You should come. Here is the Chi/Toy dogs meetup site: http://chihuahua.meetup.com/11/ Bella goes to dog parks all the time, just make sure your dogs are current on shots and keep an eye on them.

my closest friends and I are having a birthday party in november for Oreo & Ginger.. there are going to be i think chihuahua's and poms and other yorkies.. if you want to go please let me know i'd love to have you guys over! :D
