I have bought puppies and grown dogs over the internet. I haven't been burned yet. I have received some great dogs. I sell puppies on the internet. I get letters all the time, they say that their dog is the best puppy that they ever bought from any body!:D |
Fantazias is advertising in the Houston Chronicle. You can go on there and report a problem with the breeder and possibly get them barred from advertising. |
Beware of Liz James Rustyspups@aol.com Fantazias Yorkies & Biewer Breeder in La Happy Holidays Thank you so much for the information. Many people have been contacting me with information about her bating and switching her puppies and dogs. I know have more proof to show the world and the authorities what she is doing to people. I am asking everyone that has any extra time to contact AkC, Yorkie rescue, BYA, all or any Biewer clubs, the human society in La. Just asking them to check up on her. I just received proof in black and white showing she is still bating switching her puppies. Do you have a link for this new paper or a number of this paper where she is selling so I can contact them? Again I thank you for helping May God Bless you all Greatly |

I am confused, are you mlorane@hotmail.com or are you reporting against them? Sorry, I am just a little confused. Thanks! |
Beware of Liz James Rustyspups@aol.com Fantazias Yorkies & Biewer Breeder in La I am so very sorry for you and for the poor starved unhealthy sickly puppy. God help us stop these crooked breeders. Liz took my money and never sent me a thing, she resold the dog and the lady that bought her contacted me when she seen my beware on puppyfind. One good thing is when we post a beware on line when ever someone puts there name in to search or yorkie /Biewer they will see our Bewares of the breeders. I have had many people contact me that "almost" bought from Liz and they now send me information on Liz's crooked ways and new places to report her. I am very disappointed with the club Liz uses BYA as they state they have a code of ethics but when I attached & sent them copies of all the proof of Liz stealing my money and not sending my dog and of her bating and switching her puppies & dogs on puppyfind they e-mailed me back today saying I need to get all the paper work notarized before they will investigate her. I can believe that the BYA is condoning her unethical practices. I will continue to pursue Justice from Liz James. I feel it is unfortunate an organization such as BYA will not investigate one of their own members after hearing of such poor business practices This behavior should not be condoned by anyone. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!! |
So sorry about this. You are doing a good job letting possible Biewer buyers and other buyers that Liz is a scam artist and that her "club" seemingly condones her behavior. It is hard to expose someone's bad actions; many folks wouldn't bother or expend the energy. Thank you for what you are doing. |
Bad Breeder.....Yorkiebabiedolls.com I really wish that I had read this thread before I purchased my yorkie from them. We purchased Dunkin in Feb 2007. My yorkie was sold by Claude Reese. He came to us sick and with stage 2 patella in both hind legs. The stage 2 patella quickly turned to stage 4 by 11 mos old. We took him to an orthopedic and he suggested surgery. Surgery would range from $4,000 to $6,000. My husband and I decided that we could not afford to have the surgery performed on Dunkin (we have 5 children also) and found a great rescue that would have the procedure done and adopt him out. (www.sosdogs.org). The organization kept us abreast of his situation. He did not have patella after all. Dunkin's legs were malformed. His knees were bending sideways and his muscles were not growing properly. We were told this was due to bad breeding!!! In the meantime, we contacted the breeder and were told that we needed to send Dunkin back at our expense and she would send us a new dog ......also at our expense. They do not stand by their health guarantee and if you check the website periodically, the guarantee is constantly changing. Dunkin did have surgery and is on his way back to being healthy for the first time in his life. Thank you sosdogs. Please spread the word about this puppy mill. The poor pups are not healthy!!! They definitely to be shut down!!!! |
dtriebl, What breeder site did you get this puppy from? Was it wwwyorkiebabiedolls.com? |
REPORT THEM TO: www.thesqueakywheel.com. Not only are they deceiving consumers but using God as a means to do it. DISGUSTING! |
Yes, we purchased Dunkin through yorkiebabiedolls.com. Lorane handled the purchase. When Dunkin arrived I noticed a man's name on the paper's that were sent along with him. (Claude Reese, her brother.) When my AKC registration papers came in the mail, they had a totally different name on them as the breeder. ( I think her name was Karen from AZ) I then come to find out that she is Claude's daughter. We contacted Claude regarding Dunkin's condition and he gave us a song and dance about how he has no money any and he is deathly ill. I then get in touch with Lorane and mention this and she says there is nothing wrong with the man. All in all my husband and I decided that sending Dunkin back to that place would not be in his best interest and I DID NOT want another dog from them. We decided to take a loss on our dog and the money. Thank you for helping in getting the word out! |
I'm sorry all those terrible things happened to you, and thanks for letting us all know, so someone else doesn't have to go through the same thing. |
Thanks for writing that! Before I found Tessa, I was looking all over the net. I thought it was the only way I was going to get my baby. We don't have alot of breeders here in Cold Lake and the one we do is too pricy. I came across alot of scammers, like the ones that will ship the puppy from Cameroon, and alot of puppy mills. I finally decided that I would have to see the puppy in person before I gave anyone money. I just didn't have a good feeling about the internet advertisements. |
Same scenerio as my dealings with her Quote:
The same dealings happened with me. Karson was not deformed, but he was malnutritioned. He was 6months old and she said he weighed 3lbs. He weighed 4lbs and was nothing but skin and bones. He was not the same dog as she showed on the internet. He had bloody mucasy stools and very thin hair. She wouldnt answer any of my questions, only referred me to her brother Claude (who said he was very sick and a minister). She knew I purchased him to be a breeder. Needless to say, I had him neutered and placed him in a lovely home. Still to this day, he has stomach issues. He can not have anything but Science Diet dog food. No treats of any kind. Someone needs to put Lorane and her clan out of business and put her dogs in a rescue organization. She also told me I could send him back (at my expense) and they would send me another (at my expense) but I was afraid at what they might send. |
Hi Y'all, May I suggest a permanent forum re;bad breeders? Lets be fair and let them know that they are being listed and give an opportunity to respond. That response should be posted as well. The data base should be searchable so that a member looking to purchase/adopt a fur baby can easily do their homework. This can easily draw many new Yorkie friends to your site and increase advertising revenue to help pay for it all. What a terrible situation we are in. By the time most defects show themselves our babies are part of our families and we are hopelessly in love with them.Whats the sense of getting angry? Get even instead. Stephen (Roufiannas Dad) |
