For some crazy reason i googled julie's name yesterday morning and got all this crap on her...I was in shock and started to sweat! I just purchased a pup from her 4 days ago and my other 3 year old yorkie was vomiting yesterday. Little to say, i took them to the vet and thank god it must have been something that she ate. The vet checked the health cert. and said it is real and will call his office today to find out indeed. For i am concerned that she did not really receive the shots. He told me to keep her potting on a pad and not to take her out till she is fully vaccinated. The pup is suppose to be 9 weeks today and he said he believes she is 7 weeks a big lie and i guess i won't be receiving the AKC papers either for she is banned from them too. She is a great conartist and i truely believed her that she had the parents at home too. I am from NJ and good breeders can sell from their homes and that is not the case here in FL . If someone has more than one litter, pups must be sold from a place of business. The pup, Daisy, is doing well she checked out fine and eats like a champ. She is a beautiful pup, has a great personality, and gets along well with my 3 year old girl. I just wish i knew how old she really is and am really disappointed about the papers too.

It is amazing to me the people can just keep opening new business like this woman. I can't stand to see any aniamal sick or injuryed. i don't get people like her. i live in florida. i intead to call someone. We need to stop these people. there must me more we can do. i had thought about opening a pet store in my area a few years ago, but i couldn't find the right place. I wanted a store where people could come a buy things for their pets and meet local breeders. alot of people just don't know and better they go to petland to get there puppies. I live near a petland. i went in there last week to look for something for my dog. There were at least 4 people in there looking to buy a puppy. I always feel so sorry for those puppies. They must be scared.

update on Julie/janet.. she is still posting her pups on kejiji. She says her pups are AKC but in reality she gives some Purebreed papers.

my DH and I went to her place after seeing her ad and not knowing about her. Something in me didnt feel like getting it from her. So we left. The first impression of her is.. she is very straight forward and strict about how her pups treated ( i know that a joke )

Andrea Theodore is working julie and armondo soutullo acting as the salesperson for them. i had a bad experience with them and had to hound them to ship my yorkie baby, when i got the baby wasn't the one i paid for; the whole process is out of control.

This thread is all so sad.

I wish there was a good way to help people protect themselves from being burned by a bad breeder.

I also wish there was a way to shut them down, for crying out loud. They must be making good money if they keep coming back time and time again after being closed down.

Its pretty easy to spot her pups, from online sale posting ie kejiji The males will always have a blue band around the neck and the female pups has a pink bands. ( I havent seen other breeders using those bands on their pups )

Julie Soutullo has a new business' name. It is Puppylicious and it is located at the same address as Yorkilicious (19096 W Dixie, Miami, Fl 33180). I just purchased a puppy from her and now I am scared it could be sick. So far he is ok and he is playfull and eating and drinking water as he should.

Take him to the vet as soon as you can.. make sure he does a full fecal exam.. it will tell you lots... if your baby has anything this will tell the vet lots.. if you catch many things early on baby will usually be treated and is good.. problem is the not knowing... good luck... anne

I got a little girl from Julie 2 months ago..she said the pup was 8 weeks and when i brought her to the vet he said she was 6 weeks old...thank god she is healthy though....i wanted a tiny female and she is almost four months now and she is big...i was suppose the get Akc registration and never did and she sent me some bull crap papers after hounding her

Hi. This is the full story of what happened with me and my new puppy. My story begins on Sunday April 12, 2009 when I went to Julie Soutullo's house to use her teacup male to mate with my female Yorkie. I found her number in the Miami Herald using the internet and she was selling puppies. I asked her if she has a male that I can use as a stud and she said yes. I was not interested in buying any dog just to get my female pregnant. I went to her house and I saw the most adorable teacup yorkies. Her husband was there to assist with the dogs, but we could not do anything as apparently my female was not in heat anymore. Julie told me she has puppies letting me to believe the puppies were from her dogs. I asked her where and she said in her boutique. She gave me a flyer where she will have a teacup yorkie party on May 3, 2009 if I wanted to go. I said yes and I also said I will love to see the puppies. So, she took me to her store which is located very close to where she lives and she had these two adorable female yorkies. I fall in love with an almost all black female puppy and she told me she was a very rare yorkie, an all black that sells very expensive on the internet. She said that there are russian yorkies that are black and white and they are very expensive. She told me to look in the internet so I can see for myself. I did not have any intention at the beginning to buy any dog as I went to her house to use her dog and pay 400.00 for the stud fee. I told her I was in love with the puppy and if she will hold her if I give her a deposit. She told me to give her the deposit and two postdated checks and that I can take the dog. She will sell the dog for 1200.00. I told her I do not have that much money. She said she has to pay the taxes for the dog as she always pays her taxes. She then said she will give me the puppy for 1100.00. I gave her 400.00 cash and two checks, one for 200.00 to be deposited within a week, and another for 500.00 to be deposited by the end of the month. She asked me to make the checks payable to her as it will be easier for her to cash them. I did. She then put the microchip into the dog's neck and gave me her paperworks. I asked where is she register and she said the AKC. I asked where are the papers and she said she will file them for me and I will received it in the mail. I also asked her how old was the puppy and she said she was 10 weeks old. I was so happy with my new puppy and my fiance and I left the store superhappy with our new princess. I took the puppy to my vet, a very reputable man who is been a vet for more than 30 years. He loved the puppy and told me that she was ok. I told him I bought this teacup yorkie because she stole my heart. The doctor told me she was not a pure breed. WHAT?????????????? I could not believed it. The doctor said the puppy has some white here and there and the yorkies do not have white at all. Also, the features of the head and the entire black head is not a characteristics of the Yorkies. I told him about the black and white russian yorkies and he said those are not pure breed yorkies. I asked the doctor how old was the puppy and he said maximum 8 weeks old, not 10 like she said. I was so destroyed. I could not believed someone will do this intentionally, probably it was an innocent mistake. I took the puppy back home and I started researching in the internet. I googled her name and Bingo!, all of this information came out. I could not believed how deceiving this woman is. She never said anything about bringing the puppies from Argentina, all the time she led me to believe she bred the dogs. Once I found out about all of this information, I put a stop payment on my two checks that I gave her and I called her today, April 16 to confront her. She was very rude, telling me that my doctor does not know what he is taking about. I told her about all the complaints she has, that there are big cases against her, and she shut me down and told me there is nothing against her. I argued with her that she sold me a dog which she made me believed it was a puppy from her dogs and that she never told me she brings dogs from Argentina. I also told her that there are no AKC papers that she falsifies those and that the AKC is aware of that. She started getting angrier at me and told me the puppy's mother is a teacup and the puppy's father is a teacup. I told her: "how do you know they are teacups if you brought them from Argentina? These puppies does not come with AKC papers, you lie when you register them and you even have sold dogs that were sick and died". I then told her I put a stop payment on the two checks and she went ballistic. She said she will put a complaint with the General Attorney office and they will take me to jail. I told her to go ahead and do it as I will put a complaint myself. I hung up the phone and half an hour later a lady named Andrea called apoligizing for what happened. She said I was not happy with the puppy and her intention was for me to be happy. I asked her who is she and she said she works for Julie. After talking Andrea told me I can return the puppy and that she has a teacup male to go to the store to see him. I agreed. On my way there I called and I told Andrea I really did not want a male but a female. Andrea said she will get me one on tuesday. I said: "then I will see you tuesday". Andrea said, "no, come to the store and bring the puppy". I said, I am not giving the puppy until I get either my money or another puppy. Andrea said that the puppy is not paid for and I have to return her. I said unless they give me my 400.00 back, I will not. Andrea then told Julie what I said and Julie started shouting and saying she will take me to jail, that she will not return the money. I then told Andrea to forget about any other dog, I do not want another dog, I want my money and that I will put a complaint and take her down. I am so heartbroken because I am in love with this puppy. She has been pampered these last days, sleeping with me, going with me everywhere. I am just mad that someone tried to take advantage of me, specially using an inocent puppy. I do not want to give the puppy back as I am scared she will treat her bad. I am writting to you as I will put a complaint to the addresses you have in this site. Now her store is Called Puppylicious. Before it was Yorkilicious, and before that Dixie Pups, and on and on. I am so grateful I found this site. At least I was able to save 700.00 that Julie Stoullos WILL NEVER SEE!

good for you for standing up to her. And i wouldn't give her the puppy back at all!!! This woman don't care one little bit about the puppy she just wants $$$$. I hope the puppy in doing well. i would call someone to find out what your rights are.

My brother and his girlfriend recently bought a Yorkie from this woman, Julie Soutullo, and her company Yorkilicious (it's not called Dixie Pups anymore). She sold them a sick puppy just this past April 2009, and after they paid thousands of dollars to try to save her, she died. She was infested with intestinal parasites and had seizures.
Julie told them that her husband just had a heart attack and now she wont return their phone calls or answer when they call her.
How can this person still be operating with so many cases against her? :mad:

I am sooo sorry for what happened to you :( My fiance and I recently have decided to buy a teacup yorkie. I'm running into a LOT of people like this woman :/ I'm making sure to do ALL of my research before purchasing. Thank you ALL for coming out about this lady. Through your harsh experiences you have helped so many people by putting this out there. I'm sooo sorry for your losses and am sad that people can even do this :(

There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie. That term is used by bad sellers trying to sell undersized often a health problem yorkie. Any yorkie that matures to less than 4 lbs often has health issues that can seriously shorten their life span and will contribute to very large vet bills, if the vet can pull them through crises at all. Any breeders that are members of a Yorkie breed club such as YTCA are not allowed to use that term in selling a puppy under the Code of Ethics.
Also some will sell as a teacup and as many have found out on this forum, end up with one very large yorkie sometimes not even in the breed standard size of under 7 lbs.

From 7News, looks like this breeder is not allowed to sell dogs, ended up in court over her past dealings.

Oh my goodness, I cannot believe she wrote this, I like you would be furious. I am sorry to hear that you lost your baby. I cannot imagine what you went through we get attached to these babies so fast.

Sorry for using the term, I won't again. I'm still learning all of this. And I'm doing tons of research before purchasing. I actually almost purchased one at a local pet store but something didn't set right with me. That's why I started investigating. I never realized people do some of the horrible things that they do. It discourages me. I'm so scared we'll buy from the wrong person :( Thanks for the info!
