I got a dog from Julie Soutullo 2 years ago and she gave me the same story. First of all she told me the dog was 6 months old and when i took it to the vet he said it was 3 weeks old.Also the dog was said to be a poodle teacup and not weighs about 10 pounds. My dog has been so sick he gets bloody noses from a desease called irliquia "not sure if spelled right" and he has lost 66% of his blood. Actually 2 days ago he got a blood transfusion because he was about to die without one. My kids have sufferes soo much, because we almost put him to sleep but thank g-d the transfusion saved him! I have spent over $2000 at the vet and she wont pay back a penny but she offered me another poodle for free and i refuse to take it...Im sick of the suffering!


WHen i got my dog she said that they were imported from argentina and that at the time she had a sick family member in her store. OO and by the way Poochie Koochies is the same store as Dixie Pups.Julie Soutullo is an ACTRESS!

Something should be done!
Something CAN be done.

Tell your story all over the net about your experience. Write your local Humane Society - your local paper ...and whoever else you can think of. NO one should be selling dogs with such serious health issues.

wow - just googled her name and it seems she already has tons of complaints. What a lowlife

ok. Worse than a lowlife ...there are PAGES AND PAGES about her.
She's already been in trouble with the law - Miami News, Fort Lauderdale News, Florida News & Weather Channel 7 Fox Miami WSVN-TV - Local News - Pet store owner accused of selling sick puppies

I hope you all do all you can to run her out of business. Seems Miss Julie buys from puppy Mills -

big surprise there.

People need to use the net BEFORE THEY BUY A PUPPY - do your homework so this doesn't happen to you too.

Wow - just do an internet search, and you'll find endless complaints and multiple lawsuits against this person and both stores. You'll also find a few where she claims to be just an employee and not the owner of the store, and yet in news stories she is listed as the owner. A horrible person and a very bad liar! I love the internet...she's been exposed, and hopefully she'll never break another person's heart.

There's another story about her from a few days ago, claiming that someone broke into the shop and stole puppies: Miami News, Fort Lauderdale News, Florida News & Weather Channel 7 Fox Miami WSVN-TV - Local News - Police searching for pet store robbers

So sorry to hear about what you went thru. I was also burned by a Miami breeder - Seaside Yorkies. If you find a way to stop these people let me know.

I took another look at the story on the theft and saw that this is a new store with a different name. Obviously she's at it again. The new one is called Poochie Inc.

If its true than good for those robbers. those puppies probably got better homes going with them.

I am so sorry this happened to you.. I bought a 6 month old a few years ago from a show breeder that told me all shots were given... yet she got parvo not long after I had her.. this show breeder then threatens me.. It cost me 1,200 to keep this puppy alive, knowing I had to find her a new home for she was so aggressive she just wanted to kill my other two yorkies.. a baby and an old yorkie.. so with all the loss and all the crap.. my daughter got the dog.. she does not and cannot take her for a walk..so I do know how you feel..I was also told when I had her spayed I would get papers.. well papers never came and I had her spayed right away..


I know in florida you have to get a health certificate to sell a yorkie.. so maybe you need to check into this.. I do not know if there is a lemon law there tho..

This woman has a new method of selling! I called the number listed and she told me that the parents were on site and she is located in Aventura, FL. Please let everyone know!!!! Looks like her site is listed under the name Mandy Mendez but her name is under the contact info.

I have placed a call into Miami Dade animal Control. Maybe if we all do, they will stop her from selling these puppies on Nextdaypets.com. Animal control number is 305-884-1102

I also got my dear Monchis from this awful woman. He came very sick, he had an ear infection, stomach problems and skin problems. When he came he slept the whole day, he was very letargic. When we called her she said she will pay the vet. bills. Well, she never sent anything. She never gave me papers for my dog. Actually, when I got my baby, I told her I will bring him to the vet. for a general check up and she tried to convince me not to, I should have wonder why? but I was so happy with my little Monchis. Up to now (he is 2 years old), he is very shy and scared of everything. He has still a very delicate stomach and he also has a luxated patella.
This woman should be stopped, poor little doggies. After reading all the posts I am so worried about Monchis, wondering if he might have something I don't know. I hope she will finish torturing little creatures.

You did not get papers from her because she is banned by the AKC. I am very sorry to hear about your baby. I don't know why this particular couple gets under my skin so badly but she really does.

I understand you are upset, me too. I don't even think are the amount of vet. bills I have had for Monchis (which I'm happy to pay if he is fine), but the poor little animals that she has, the helpless puppies she handles in such an inhuman way. I got a puppy like 3 weeks ago, from a different breeder of course, and she is so different, lively, happy, healthy. I am just happy Monchis has so much love. But I don't get how come this woman is still out there, how can this happen here in the US??????:mad:
