sacred heart kennels Has anyone ever heard of sacred heart kennels in California? Interested in one of her pups. A biewer that's 8 months old and very cheap in price. She said no longer will be breeding biewers, this is the last one she has. That's why price is low. Should I be worried? |
does anyone know how to start a new post? |

Not someone I would do business with. Multiple breeds and what she calls exotic colors. I would run. |
I would not buy from this person she has way to many different types for me to believe she breeds them all and has them all in her house. Not thrilled with how she describes the biewer. I think she is probably a broker. |
Check out this review on Yelp: Sacred Heart Kennels - Mariposa, CA It is a puppy mill that previously surrendered 80 dogs when it got "over burdened" |

I am afraid you are going to be in for another heartbreak if you go with that breeder. |
I must be way behind times because we had poms for over 15 years and I have never seen one the color of what she is calling rare colors. |
I may be shooting myself in the foot, here... but she is the breeder that our family got both Levi and our 9 year old Cocker Spaniel, Boomer, from. Boomer has been the best dog personality wise that we have ever owned, and Levi came back from the vet with good knees and a near perfect bill of health (he had some bacteria in his poop, all gone now). If you check the "not recommended" part of that page on yelp, you can see that she responded to the review and rejected the claims from the reviewer. While I agree that her policy on home visits is a bit iffy, from my experience I do think that the pups she produces are both quality and of breed standard and I would definitely never assume that she is a "broker" or a "puppy mill" or anything like that. Whether or not you should purchase the Biewer pup is, of course, up to you... but I would have to disagree with the negative things people are saying here without having any experience with her. If (god forbid) Levi ends up having health problems sometime down the line, I'll be sure to update my post here, but for now I'd say she's a fine breeder. |
Thank you for your post. It was reassuring to know some positive things about her. Still looking around for a biewer at this time. May spend some top dollars on a reputable breeder that I won't have any regrets in the long run. I've been screwed twice already and don't want to that route again. |
I hear you. I just hate when people make wild assumptions about people without actually coming into contact with them. I seriously have no idea why people are assuming she is a broker or a puppy mill. She breeds only two types of dogs, and neither Levi nor Boomer has a puppy mill personality. Also, the way Levi acts around us tells me that he was constantly around people as a baby, which I don't think puppy mill puppies have the luxury of experiencing. |
