Experience with Kimberly Gierlach from IL? Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone had experience with Kimberly Gierlach. I visit her website Victorie Yorkshire Terriers - Home and just love her yorkie dogs. Overall, just wonder if she sells healthy yorkie puppies. That's the most important thing I care about. |
Wow, those are some exquisite pups! Based on her site and the information she gives, I would venture to say that her babies are extremely healthy. She is a YTCA member in good standing, which is one of the first things you should look for as a sign of a good breeder. |

On the surface this looks like a breeder that I would definitely consider. There is some good general information and I do like what I see but I don't see anything about the contract etc...I would be interested in seeing that. I also don't see the sires and dams and how much they weight etc.... |
Lynzy, I actually like the fact that she doesn't have all that information on her site. By requiring potential owners to contact her for further info, it gives her a bit of a filter right from the get go. She does mention specifically spay/neuter contract. Her breeders' pictures are in the gallery slideshow. Her Priscilla, now retired, is a stunning little lady. ETA: This thread is the first time I've ever heard of her. |
If there is one thing I've learned about breeders and I have/do deal with hundreds and hundreds.....THOSE WHO HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE, HIDE NOTHING. So when I see little information, it leaves me room to wonder. |
She is a show breeder so maybe some who know her can chime in. She does has some beautiful pups. |
She looks like a reputable breeder from what I can see. Pixie and Roxie were both from a a long time show breeder who was not computer savvy. She talked to me for 45 minutes on the phone before even telling me is she had any puppies available. After finding out that I had 35 years of yorkie owning experience she told me of Pixie who was 13 months old and 3 1/2 lbs and a 3 year old retired breeder. I ended up with Pixie who was spayed already. I never had a health guarantee with Pixie, Dixie (who passed from a congenital disease at 6 months) or Roxie. When Dixie passed, the breeder cried with me, gave me Roxie when I was ready and some money for her vet bills. I know I was lucky but I wouldn't count this breeder out without more information and a visit to her. Good luck. |
Very interesting and interested to know where she is located...I didn't see that on her site. I'd love to keep this breeder in my mind...for the future, that is, not looking right now. I think she sounds ligit...you should send her an email if you are really interested. |
I forgot to add...I wouldn't NOT consider her; infact, based on the little I did see it was very good, I would just want to see more. Her pups really are beautiful, for sure! |
I think she looks reputable. Definitely inquire :) my breeder had little information too because her website is not where she sells her puppies and she wants people to call and talk to her. |
I would contact her and ask questions. Get to know her and what kind of breeder she is. If you check out my blog I have a list of questions to ask when I was looking for a pup. They also should be asking you questions too. Any reputable breeder will be more then happy to answer any questions you have. |
If you scroll down her page the dam and sire of the litter she is selling are there Lynsy. :). |
