texas breeder warning! all people looking to purchase a yorkie poodle or pom Beware C wise aka Doggy Dos No papers! Sick puppies. Alvarado Texas |
I've asked our mods to move this over to the breeder review forum. Sorry you got a sick pup...are they getting better now under your vets care? What was wrong? Can you give us more details? |
Interesting results on a search of this person.. Newspaper article. Drugs lead way in May list of indictments » Cleburne Times-Review, Cleburne, TX Business reviews. Doggy Do's Grooming & Boarding, Alvarado, TX 76009 - YP.COM I can't tell if this person is a member here or not, but this is public record stuff from a basic internet search. |
texas buyers beware! Yes I bought two yorkies was promised akc pApers to be mailed and on the contract BU papers two months later I will have to try and getckc on my own Excuse after excuse I took the pups straight away to vet they had tapeworms and lungworms A. Lot of buyers do not take pups or get vaccines I hope the rest of the litter survived Lesson learned never leave without pApers in hand and proof of vet check and Immunizations! |
I'm sorry you were scammed like that, I hope your pups will be OK. However, don't bother with getting CKC papers. (I'm assuming that you mean Continental Kennel Club. If you are talking about Canadian Kennel Club, which is unlikely since the pups are from TX, Canadian Kennel Club papers are good). Continental Kennel Club papers are worthless and a waste of money, and essentially the same as having no papers at all. |
as a breeder I can tell you that even the infamous AKC papers mean nothing unless you want to show.. other than that I know a LOT of puppy mills producing AKC puppies, the secret is the BREEDER, get to know a breeder, visit the home, ask LOTS of questions, ask to see the puppies play, eat,ask to meet the puppies parents, ask to see the pedigree., in my humble opinion those are MORE important than registration papers, those at the end only prove ownership.. hugs, |

ok, maybe I am one of a few breeders that sits with my potential parents and explain the pedigree? if they want an AKC puppy and know about the AKC, then they need to know about the pedigree.. I feel that an educated parent is a good parent,I had many parents ask me to see the pedigrees, and when I ask do you understand, they say Not really, LOL so I think that explaining the basics to them makes a world of difference, this is where your new family member comes from... and I had many well educated parents on pedigrees, so I take for granted..LOL sorry if I am wrong, but I feel that if i am selling a puppy to a parent they need to be inform on the breed, and where your puppy comes from.. not just here I have an AKC puppy and this is the price..like I hear many breeders do.. hugs, |
