Why do you want to breed? Are both dogs championed? Or breeding quality (excellent specimens of the breed). Just because they can reproduce/the parts fit does not mean it is appropriate. How big is each dog? Dad should be the same size or slightly smaller than her. Where both appropriately tested by the vet before she even went into heat? Breeding is very expensive and not for the faint of heart. I would step back and find a mentor for the next cycle. |
Wow she pisted all over please see ger user up posts. She got some really great afvice and aeems open to it now. |
Sosonyc why do you assume my dogs are bad quality not once did i say that obviousoy one must check before breeding and thats exactly what i did..and like concretegurl said i took adviceand im not breeding anymore! |
Babyv I know you now plan on spaying. Somethings were bever asked and if you cobsider breeding even another dog in the future herea a few basics to ask and know: Why dp you want to breed? Have you found a mentor prior? Is your dog Full AKC registered to you? Did two breeders certify your dog breeding quality? Do you gave a breeding male and femal appropriately matched both of breeding quality? Do you have and know the 12 generation pedigree? Are you lnowlegable enough to offer support to buyers? Is your dog health tested chic and ofa certified? Can you not only afford a cestion and whelping costs but a litter of sick pups? Are you prepared to loose your dam in breeding? These are a few of the basics breeders ask themselves when considering breeding. |
