Breeder - Mary's Little Yorkies Does anyone have any information about this breeder? She seems nice enough with answering all of my questions. Just wondering if anyone has bought from her and could hopefully share their experience. Home Thank you! |
It is discouraged for a female under 5 pounds to be breed. Some of her dams are under 5 pounds. |
Most of the dams are under 5 pounds. Three of them are 3.5 pounds. I just don't think that's right. |
Good observation. I noticed the smaller females too but I also noted that none of their names were part of the litter mommies listed? |
I don't see Victoria's picture- listed as a mommy to a litter. She also states she keeps for a minimum of 8 weeks. In US YTCA states puppies should be 12 weeks old and AKC basically defers to the parent organizations on this issue. Her sales contract is a little off to me. It does state full registration. It also says the puppies can be family pets, confirmation, etc. All for $750 for a male and $850 for a female. Majority will not sell confirmation/show dogs to just anyone nor will they give full registration. They should by AKC standard be blue-steel with tan- No black intermingled. Most of hers she says are black and tan. A hair should be glossy, fine, and silky. She says thick coats for some of her dogs. Breeding stock should fit the standard. Just food for thought. They all are very cute. |
They are amazing! That is were i got my little tut. My little sister got her puppy there also. They were very good at answering all my questions. I 100% recommend them. |
Tut was also from victoria. the dog do turn blue and are akc registerd. |
Thanks for the replies. I have since found a great (different) breeder and have found my perfect little furbaby. |
I see that you live in Maryland like me. Is the breeder you found within driving distance? |

Desperately seeking female yorkie puppy Hello everyone. I'm new to the site. Just to share a sad story, I had my little Happy, a female yorkie, for 15 yrs then she passed. I grieved for a very long time then one day not too long ago I decided I was ready for another little "luvbug". I bought a female yorkie, my Babylady. I got her 9/8/18, she was the sweetest little baby but on this past Christmas Day I woke up to a very sick little puppy......such odd symptoms.........running into things, falling over, rubbing the walls, all the symptoms of what I NOW know to be a liver shunt. Since it was Christmas Day there was only 1 emergency facility where I rushed her to. The dr told me she probably would not make it through the night so I had to do what no one really wants to but she was in such bad shape. I informed the breeder & didn't even get as much as an "I'm sorry". She only replied that in her 12 yrs of breeding yorkies this was the first. With all that being said, I'm looking for another HEALTHY female yorkie but don't know who to trust at this point. I live in Mississippi & am on 1 waiting list but it will probably be in the spring & then no guarantee of a female. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me? |
