Beware of Wee Bit Kennel in Arkansas! I was assured by Donna Arnold at Wee Bit Kennels that the 2 year old female Yorkie I bought from her for breeding was taken to the vet and checked out in good health. I recieved the dog and I am horrified to say the vet record of supposedly good health informed me she has 2 hernias, bad knees, she is deaf and the vet record didn't say but she has a visible severe under bite! Please be very careful when dealing with this one!!! Wendy Nicholson |
Wendy, Im so sorry this Breeder did this to you...Did you try and contact her. Are you going to keep the pup. Im affraid if you return the pup she may PTS. Good luck to you.....Lissette |
Thank you Lissette! :- ) I am still in shock quite honestly! I have contacted her through Paypal. I paid through them so as soon as I got home from the airport with the dog yesterday I put a claim in against her. I emailed her separately this morning letting her know all I want is a full refund and I will return the dog tomorrow and close the Paypal dispute and she just emailed back that she has no idea what I am talking about!? So, I am not holding my breathe for her to refund my money or take her back!? We'll see! I am just in total shock that any human being could intentionally do something like this! It blows my mind! |

??? She is actually gorgeous! I was so happy when I first got her but then I saw her paperwork with all the issues! :- ( She is fine with my other dogs and my cat! (She didn't lie about that!) I can't keep her though. I am only aloud so many dogs and so if I get another breeder I am going to have to place her! :- ( AS A PET, of course, like she should have been placed in the first place! I paid $800 for her and as much as I hate to send her back to that woman! If I can get a refund I need to just get the refund and send her back! :- ( She is very pretty though and very friendly and social! :- ) That is good I guess, considering!? |

Re: Medical Needs She has no medical needs right now. With all the issues none are in need of "fixing" she just obviously can't be bred as most, if not all, the issues are hereditary. I bought her specifically to breed and the lady knew this. She told me if the vet found ANY health issues before she shipped her she'd give me a full refund. She intentionally did this (past her problem on to me basically!) and fortunately for this beautiful little girl if she will not take her back I will find her an excellent pet home, it will not be hard, she is very pretty and friendly! I just hope I can get a refund regardless as I need that money back now to try and get another...if I even end up doing that. I am very discouraged right now about buying online period and may just stick with the 3 girls I have and let that be that! |
That is awful. Well, maybe the breeder you got her from thinks it's okay to breed Yorkies with hereditary issues. Maybe she doesn't realize that breeding is to improve the breed, not to make a profit on pups. Some people are totally clueless, and she is from an area where a lot of people just breed 2 Yorkies and get puppies, without much regard to their quality. |
That's terrible. Maybe you can find her home here on YT. Love to see pictures of her. |
Wendy, I feel really sorry for you. I can understand that you are not happy about this situation. It´s a very good choice for giving her only in a pet home. Please not back to the breeder, I agree to Manolo´s Mom. It seems that she is a very cute girl. Would you post a picture from her here? Unfortunately I ´m so far away because I´m from germany. lots of greetings, Tanja Means "Hernia" something is broken? Sorry my english is not so good. |
Pictures of her... 2 Attachment(s) I think she is really pretty! She has a unique red color! Hernia is the lining inside tears and allows intestine to come out. |
Update: Paypal is saying they can't do anything for me. They only deal with items not received, not the quality of the item. (Good to know for future reference!) :- l My husband called her and she hung up on him. He called back of course she wouldn't answer so he called several more times until she did answer again. She said she was not aware of the issues (although she is the one who took her to the vet!?) she is going to contact her vet tomorrow and get back to us! (Again, I'm not holding my breathe)!? |

It is my understanding that PayPal does reversals for "item significantly not as described." Regardless, how did you pay via paypal? If you used your credit card, you can dispute it with your credit card company up to 3 months after the transaction. If you did it with your bank, just go to your bank and tell them to reverse the payment (I think you have like 30 or 60 days to do that, it's at least 30 days). If the breeder is unwilling to work with you on the situation, then you have to try to resolve the situation on your end. |
[quote=PupEPalace;2562961]Paypal is saying they can't do anything for me. They only deal with items not received, not the quality of the item. (Good to know for future reference!) :- l I have some experiences with paypal and their first answer is always as you describes. But you should constantly contact them and you could have success. I´m an ebayer and often we must use paypal and in the ebay-forums is from other users described that the first question is always rejected but when you contact paypal over and over they changed their mind. (I hope my english makes sense to you). She is a beauty with a sweet face and a nice little girl! Oh and thanks for the explanation of "Hernia", I understand it now:). |
Final Update: OK, turns out Donna Arnold has medical issues and she isn't herself anymore! This apparently was all a big mistake! She refunded my money and I am keeping the dog to find her a good PET home! Thank you everyone that helped me through this! :- )) I am going to get her to my vet for her ears, apparently the deafness may be temporary due to severe ear infections! Hopefully they are not permenantly damaged! Thank you all again! |
