Hello, New here. Found you after googling WVPUPPY.com . They ran an add in my local paper. I thought it was odd to have so many different breeds of puppys for sale. After reading WVpuppyhater i noticed that almost all the photos on there web site show freshly washed puppes. I was thinking about a room mate for my 6 year old Yorkie. But i will pass on them, but i feel sooo bad for the pups they have there.

Saturday, I purchased my first Yorkie. I was a little scared about spending so much money on such a little dog, but I wanted to give my fiancee the dog that she wanted. After reading these comment, I feel that I may have made a very big mistake. I was unaware of such places, these puppy mills, and did not expect to find this out about WV puppies, which is where I purchased my Yorkie from. Is there anything specific that I should look out for that could indicate a problem? We are scheduling him to see the vet this week because they only allow for 5 days to get them checked. He is such a cute little guy and I have already grown quite fond of him. It would absolutely kill my fiancee if there would be something wrong with him.:(

I have a friend that bought her pup from there probably 3 yrs ago or so, and so far she has been healthy with no issues what so ever! Hopefully that continues! She is on the larger size, but healthy and thats what counts most:) You should never purchase from a place like this, but there are lots of unaware people! Just know that because you did, does not mean your baby will have any issues!! Hope all checks out great with your vet:)

Just get him to a vet ASAP, for complete check-up. These dogs are worth every penny. I hope he/she is fine. You have really saved this dog by taking him away from there. . Good luck.

Thanks, I have already contacted my vet and they will see him Friday. He really has been a great little dog. He follows me everywhere and loves it when I get down on the floor and play with him. He has been really great with house breaking so far, and even goes to the door when he wants to go out. He really has stole my heart.:thumbup:

I must be one of the lucky ones. Harley went to the vet today and they said that he is in great shape. He is full of all kind of energy and is taking to potty training very well.

i remember looking at this site before- it was disgusting! can you tell us what action you are planning on (or in the process of) taking?

I just want to remind people that most breeders have something called "google alerts", and they will be informed if their name is mentioned on a website. Also, if you link their website in a thread, they can easily find the post on Yorkietalk where their name is mentioned. No matter how bad the place, there will always be someone new to YT, who posts that they got a dog from there and it was wonderful. It sounds like this is more of a broker than a breeder, and they are probably buying from puppymills, so it doesn't really matter that much how the dogs are kept at that location, it matters how were they kept at the breeding location?

We are currently seeking people who have purchased a puppy from this location. It would be especially helpful if your puppy came with registration papers that can be traced. Even if that is not the case, the more people we can find, the more information we can gather. It promises to be a long and careful campaign, but we are working with groups that have been successful in this type of endeavor. I appreciate the heads-up about the google alert. It is our hope that we can fly under the radar for awhile, but if not.. then so be it. We have to try every outlet at our disposal to try to get the word out. It would seem from the comments on this thread that there are a few people here that would like to see justice done for their sweet pups, as well as for the ones that are still languishing.

A truck carrying a shipment of puppies to wvpuppies.com has been seized! All 25 puppies are in foster homes. Charges against the owner, Anthony Drozdik are pending! Thought you would want to know. Say a prayer for the dogs that still are at the Mill. If I find out anything else, I will contact you!
