Unahappy with this AZ Groomer Name: Ronnie Company: Furmagnolias Mobile Grooming City: Phoenix metro area Mesa State: AZ My personal experience with this groomer is NOT GOOD. Positive.. she did a fab job on Ralphie..and he as not afraid of being groomed. I was pleased about that. Negative: One day.. just before my appointment, which had been scheduled for three weeks.. I got a call. She spoke to me like she was leaving a message on my machine , rather than speaking to me in person. It was very rehersed.. "Hello.. I am calling to tell you I will no longer be able to groom for you..I am over booked on my schedule..Good Bye." (Hang up) I was so shocked.. I could not even say a word! I called right back.. no answer..called later in the day.. no answer. Then a few weeks later.. I see the mobile unit in my subdivision twice! This groomer is a flake..I found another groomer who advised she has gotten many customers after incidents like this.. no warning.. no reason. I always gave a good tip , and never rescheduled..called to check to make sure all would be ok.. This was very upsetting to me, as had I been told the truth, and prior to rthe appointment, I could have had some time to look.. Strangest thing that has happened to me in a long time.. Comments????? |

I have learned alot of mobile groomers tend to do this. I cant tell you how many customers I have seen that have had the very same complaint. |

There is a mobile groomer in our area that is supposed to be great. But she is so booked, she's not even taking any new customers; won't even put you on a list. |

OMG!!!!! That is SO bizarre! NO explanation whatsoever? Unreal. Filling out a report to the BBB is such a hassle that I don't even know if it'd be worth it - but? That's just so weird! You should really have a friend call her, schedule an appt., have her come to the door, answer the door, and be all "I'm sorry, I'm going to have to cancel as I'm overwrought, GOODBYE!" LOL. How good would that feel? Not that you'd do it, but isn't it a rather nice fantasy? |

I interviewed a lot of groomers until I found the perfect one for my kids. It's posts like this that make you appreciate when you have some one who's wonderful. If you ever again are looking let me know and I'll gladly give you the mobile groomer I use for my 4. |

No one will read this because.... it is a very old thread now. AZKATY never mentioned I came as her next mobile groomer. even groomed her ralphie in her kitchen after doing the major work in my mobile. She seemed happy and I amied to please. One day she dropped me saying she could not afford me anymore nad was grooming him herself. She befriended me and then dropped me cold. I was morte expensive but I am more experienced w/ 30+yrs and have excellent references. The mean forum she refers to was a groomer forum. I was the original one they slandered and impersonated me and ultimately I left . A yr later the meanest was banned; hairdevil was her username. Glad she got her come-up-ins. I have to wonder why AZKATY never praised me on this forum, as I was always on time, visited and cared for Ralphie and her other dogs. AZKATY is the one who told me about this forum. |

I AM NOT Ronnie but the groomer after her. Ralphie is very wiggly and delicate. There isn't much work to do but he is difficult to groom. I am not sticking up for Ronnie, as many call me complaining about her behavior, grooming etc. I just wonder why AZKATY never mentioned I came after she had her bad experience w/ Ronnie. I was dependable, experienced and gave very personal care. even emailed and called asking about her Rusty who was very sick at that time. Then by phone message she dumped me. I don't believe she is still grooming him herself. She didn't appreciate me because I charge a little more. |

Gold dust yorkies Hi I'm getting a puppy from Gold Dust in 6 wks...can hardly wait. Had to have my Buddy put to sleep last week...still upset. Has Ralphie been pretty healthy? Did not have very good luck with Buddy but I did not know much about yorkies when I bought him. I think that he had some genetic problems. He only lived 7 yrs. Buddysmom:D |
