Beware Of Nortons Yorkies In Bristow, Ok
I purchased an AKC parti sired, parti carrier male from Renea Norton in Bristow, OK in Nov 2007. She provided me with a picture of a full parti she said was the Dad and a traditional Yorkie she said was the Mom. I bred him with a parti carrier female (what I bought him for) and unfortunately she had a miscarraige (pups did not survice, but Mom is OK) and I bred him to a previous pup of ours that my Mom bought for her girlfriend. Now, two days ago on 2/5/2008 I got a phone call and I was informed that the full parti I had posted on my site was infact not my dogs Dad and to make matters worse what was suppose to be my dogs Dad was in fact a female dog! I contacted Renea and she said she had gotten the pictures from the person she had purchased him from. So, I got on YT and tracked down his breeder. The breeder informed me that she sold the dog in question to Renea back in May 2007 as a pet with his AKC registration and never mentioned anything about a Parti or carrier or anything else, and as a matte of fact she knew nothing about parti Yorkies until I called her. So, I contacted Renea back and told her I wanted a refund. She said I could send him back but I owed her money in stud service fees. Now I also know of two other people that she has scammed. She advertises her pups as AKC registered then when you get your pup it has ACA registration not AKC and she forges documnets to show that you signed for ACA not AKC!!! SO, please, beware and take care! |
