AKC and ACA i found a puppy that i put a deposit on. shes aca registered. her sire was akc registered and her dam was aca. how does that work? did the sire need to be switched to aca? the registration doesnt matter to me. i really cant do anything with papers if im not showing or breeding but they come along with the price and i guess they are nice to have. |
I don't know what the ACA is, but you can't register with the AKC unless both parents are AKC. Find out what ACA, because you'll probably have to register with them. |
When the breeder registered the litter with ACA, the AKC registration number of the sire had to be put on the registration papers... OR.... the sire is dual registered with AKC and ACA. ;) |
Male is probably dual registered with both clubs here is the link to ACA website http://www.acacanines.com/ |
AKC will not dual register a ACA dog so I am sure they just dual registered their male so they could register the puppies. |
