A yorkie or not a yorkie

I bought this angel this afternoon, I couldn't leave her(her health doesn't seem to be 100%. the lady that had her acted like she didn't care) she said she was a yorkie and she looks somewhat like one(crossbreed????) she is a golden brown, with a sooty color at her new growth she is super tiny only 14 ounces at the lady said 9 weeks, her walk is weird it seems like either her back legs are not strong or she is deformed, I will be taking her to the vet after I get my kids from school.

She is so cute!! She actually looks a lot like pictures that I have seen of a Yorkie/Maltese mix ("Yorktese"/"Morkie"). Please keep us updated on her health.

She looks like a yorkie to me but who cares:D she is sooooo cute. And bless your heart for taking her and loving her. I just want to kiss her cute little face.

nonetheless... absolutely adorable...

It seems to me that it might be what some call a yorkie-poo... every dog pulls different traits from their Mommy & Daddy though... so who knows!

Maybe her walk is strage because she may be younger then the lady is saying.

She looks like a morkie, thats what Peanut looked like when he was a puppy....:) she is adorable...:)

IMO, she does not look like pure Yorkie. She is still cute though. 9 weeks is very early for her to be away from her mom and littermates. I would definately have her checked ASAP since you say that she seems to be having problems walking...
Was this lady a breeder? Did you notice these problems before you bought her, or after you got her home? Something just doesn't seem right with this situation...:( Have you called the lady to ask her about your concerns? Sounds to me like she has a much better home and a caring owner now that she is with you.:thumbup:

aw shes adorableeee my friend has a morkie they look like twins! I would say a morkie!:D I hope her health is ok!! please let us know! congrats on ur new baby

She is a doll. What did the vet say about her hind legs? I hope she is just a little week from being so young and that is all that is wrong with her.

There is no question in my mind that the pup is a mix. AND A DARN CUTE ONE I must say ! :) I can sure see why you couldn't leave with out her. That is a really tiny pup to be under 1 lb at 9 wks. Do the back legs go off to the side of the body or are they underneath the body like they should be? Hope all goes well at the vet.

She looks cute no matter what, I saw a Yorkee-Maltese that looked just like that cutie pie of yours. No matter what you did a great thing by removing her from that lady....God Bless you and your adorable puppy. Keep us posted:aimeeyork
