I purchased another male puppy a few months ago to breed Ceeby's girls to since I won't breed him to his daughters of course. I was hoping for small like Ceeby (weighs four on a good day, usually three and a half)since his parents are small altho his lineage is mixed. that puppy now weighs five pounds and at first I was disappointed, then realized that five pounds is alright, that small studs often don't produce small pups. I have had all sizes. so I will be keeping renny to use when he is a little older. he has an awesome pedigree and I would be foolish to throw that away because i don't like his size. |
