Bella won't eat- might be pregnant! This dog is going to be the death of me! I am the one that has a supposed to be nuetered male and Bella who is normally a little over 3 1/2 lb little girl. The vet thinks she is pregnant and has scheduled a second sonogram in about a week and a half. BUT, now she doesn't want to eat anything and she is throwing up yellowish foam again (she did this for the first time about 2 weeks ago). I have tried the cottage cheese and made chicken for her. I have also tried canned puppy food. She won't eat any of it. The only thing I can get her to eat is treats called Chicken Jerky Tenders. I don't know what to do to get her to eat! She has also started attacking Jack all the time. She is just plain mean to him. She will protect the food from him but again she won't eat it. Does anyone know what might be her problem? Again, I am not 100 % that she is preg. Vet said he saw 2 or 3 spots in her uterus. Thanks again in advance. |
Maybe she has the baby blues. LOL Sorry I can't help. |

See, that is why I am a little bit scared about it all. I know she is too small to have pups. We got Jack fixed instead of her because the vet said he would handle surgery better than her because of her size. I really hope it is a false preg. but no she was not around any other males that I know of. But she was aloud outside to go potty. I am just learning that males can get through fences from everyone on here. I just really didn't think any dogs could get in my fence since it is a 6 ft wooden fence and is kind of set into the ground. I really don't know what the spots in her uterus could be other than puppies. I am having a vet recheck Jack because he said they should not have been able to "tie" if he was fixed and I caught them together. Does anyone know if that is true? Also what else could the spots in her uterus be? Thanks! |
Oh, I forgot to say also that when I took her to the vet, she was a little heavier than usual also. She weighed 4 lbs 2 oz. |
How strange is that??? Please keep us updated on it. If she hasn't been around any intact males, then it's probably a false pregnancy.... |

If your fence is secure and your boy is neutered then it might be a false pregnancy but I can't wrap my mind around the spots he saw. I will say a prayer that it's not anything bad when you go back for the next sono. |
Thanks so much for your input! |
