Mother's Milk Does anyone know how to dry up a yorkie mama's milk if they lose their litter of pups? My breeder has one who is miserable she's so full of milk. She has tried putting other pups in with her and she won't accept them. She has also milked some out to give her relief (she says it will squirt across the room) but it just comes right back. Need help for her if possible. |
nature has a way of doing that on her own. If you keep stimulating the mamory glads they will continue to produce milk. So just leave her alone or take her to the vet. By milking them own your own they will continue to produce milk. If she is in to much pain take her to the vet and he can give her something to dry it up. Good luck and take care of that momma. |
old remedy here is what my hubby does to his beagles (He breeds Champion Beagles). He pours some rubbing alcohol into the palm of his hand and massages it into her belly twice a day for a few days. it works for us but going to the vet to get something would be better. |
