I really am glad I was misinformed about this place, he said he would like for me to come see everything. I think I would like to do this, it sounds like they have a nice setup. I wish they would post pics on their website showing the runs and more of the setup so more people wouldn't get the wrong idea about their place.
Once again, even though they probably wont see this, I would like to appologize for the misconceptions about their setup.
Oh, and they said that Kiley hadnt had pups in about 4 years so they figured she was done having pups so she had a "cage mate" named Cricket, also a yorkie. She wasnt even showing when we got her, so they had no way of knowing she was preg when she left.

although I have never heard of this breeder and know many breeders in NC, I will add that I saw nothing odd with their dogs on their site or any bad conditions. Crates and cages are a part of owning dogs. The only concern I had was the fact that any long time breeder would know that you do not "house" an intact male with a female who isn't spayed. That is just common sense regardless to how long it had been since she had had babies. And then I thought of her age, and the fact she was re-homed "retired" from breeding, so my next thought was why wasn't she spayed by the breeder prior to doing so. That is the proper thing to do. If she wasn't spayed she shouldn't have had a "cage mate" that was un-altered. That was my only point. I do not know anything else about the breeders nor do I have any thing negative to say about their kennel conditions because I do not go on hear say. Thanks for letting me explain my concerns. :)

Im guessing there will be 3boys and 1 girl. Puppies will be here at 5:30AM Wed.

Oh, my look at the size of her little tummy. Wonder how many really are in there? When she is done "pushing the last one out", that little girl is going to be exhausted (lol) and would imagine she is going to be the best mommy.

I just wanted to explain my concern with how she ended up this way a little better.

Hi Kelly!!! I just read this whole thread, and I want to wish you luck with your precious babys' delivery. I hope all goes well for her (and you!!!) and I am guessing 4 girls and one boy!!!! lol. I know nothing about delivery or breeding (I would keep every one if I did!!) but i am thinking of your little girl:) Can't wait for delivery post!!!!

Good luck to you and momma. Hope she has those babies soon. She looks ready to pop. Give her hugs and keep us informed.

I put the lol in the wrong place. It just made me laugh seeing her on her back, legs up and her expanded tummy. She is so tiny and thank goodness this will be her last whelping. Her little eyes just appear to be smiling and happy. Joyful little girl.

If it happens tonight and shes not done tomorrow am or i dont feel comfortable leaving her and pups here (even they wont be alone) then im using a sick day...:p

Trust me...once you see their little faces...you'll never wanna leave them alone :-)
