Need help how much???? As a First Time breeder, I for most want to make sure all my little ones make it. I have had alot of people ask me how much do I want for them, I have been telling them for now I just want to make sure they are okay first. I don't even now how much to ask for them, I live in Indiana so I need so input on how much to sell them for or something to go on when people ask me. Tommy my male he is 3lbs and he is blue and tan AKC reg. Maddy my female is 6 lbs and is black and gold she is also AKC reg. I think the colors are right. So what would the going price be for my little ones? Thanks |
The prices in Indiana are lower than other states. I have seen them go for as high as $1200 and as low as $600. If they are tinies the price is higher than that. I think you should price them as you want to |
Maddy is black and tan and Tommy is black and gold:aimeeyork |
Keep an eye on the local paper and see what they are going for in your area. It also depends on the quality, size and whether or not they are champion sired or lined. It just depends on what the market will bare for what you have to offer. |

I also live in Indiana. A friend of mine has 6 week old puppies. They mom and dad are AKC and CKC. Mom is 6lbs and dad is 4lbs. Beautiful colors. They are going to ask $700 for females and $600 for males. I see them in the paper all the time and it seems like the females are any where from $600 to $1000 with the average about $650 and the males are $500 to $800 with the average about $600. But...on the other hand. I purchased my baby, Katie. I got her in February and I paid $800. She is AKC. I wanted her for breeding, but she is only 2.6lbs at 5 months old. The vet and I both do not think she is going to be big enough. Good luck on finding good homes. That is what would worry me the most about having babies. I would be too picky! |
