Do they have a web site? i haven't ever heard of them but if we could see a website we might be able to find any red flags to help you

Yes they do!! It is yorkiemagic.com. I have been talking to the breeders and they seem fantastic! I haven't caught anything suspicious, but I have an untrained eye! :)

they really don't have any info on their site. what about the contract do they offer at least a yr health guarentee?

There were a few more questions that I asked her, through email, last night and that was one of them. So I am still waiting to hear the answer on that. Is there anything else I should ask that i may have forgot?

I would make sure you know what the health gaurentee covers like
Lp
liver shunts
death (will they refund your money of give you a new pup)
paracites
diesases
will they help with vet bills if it is sick on arrival
Hip displaysia
and genetic defects
also ask about the parents did you see pics of them make sure you feel comfortable with the breeder
call them on the phone and talk you may get answers faster and also you can hear how they speak to you. i'm sure there are other yt members that can chime in here and help you with a list good luck

Yes I agree with the other posts, definitely want to know what guarantees they off in writing and actual age they will sell a puppy. It should not be less than 12 weeks old.
Also their claim of selling show quality pets is nonsense. These are not show quality. They aren't real poor quality from the pictures but these are not show quality pets.

Is that something that I should be concerned with? I just want a pet, I have no intention of showing. Should I be worried about that?

I am not sure if it could be a problem. My concern is that they could potentially overprice these puppies based on the claim. If they are charging a normal price for a pet puppy for whatever the charge is for that part of the US, I wouldn't worry about it, if it is a marketing ploy then I would be concerned. You don't want to be fooled into paying more than you should on a claim that is not valid.
It is possible they just don't know any better.
If it is a pet you are looking for, these aren't bad from the pictures but better if you are close enough to go there to see for yourself, and the health guarantees would be important.

Ok... that may be it. And no, they are very resonably priced. They are 850.. comporable to most the others in the area. I do plan on making the 5 hour drive to go see them after they are born at the end of next month. My sister in law lives in Dallas not to far from them so we will make a stop to go see them as well! I just want to make sure that I am getting the best pet puppy that I can as she will be with me for the next 12-15 years! :) That is rather important!! :)
