Anyone have experience with either breeder?

I have never heard of either of these breeders, but looking at their websites, here are several red flags that would cause me to run the other way FAST.

Windswept:-seems like the vaccinations are given to the pups starting at a very young age...2 weeks!:eek:
-they will not give a refund should the pup have to be returned, only a future, replacement pup
-they don't assure the pups to be "breeding quality", yet they sell them with full AKC registration:mad: :thumbdown

IMO, any breeder who offers their pups w/ full reg, no questions asked, is clearly not at all concerned with the health of the pups they produce nor do they take pride in what they are breeding

Ultimate:
-they are breeding multiple breeds, including mixed breeds advertised as "Designer Breeds": :thumbdown
-they do not give a refund should the pup have to be returned
-they do not guarantee the pup to be free from LP...they actually claim it won't be covered because the dog can develop that later on:eek: :eek:
-they actually make the exact statment "sold as pet quality, w/ full AKC registration:mad: :thumbdown Again, not something any GOOD, REPUTABLE breeder would do.:mad: :thumbdown

I would suggest you keep looking. I know that there are several good breeders in your area. Please just be patient and don't sacrifice quality for a lower price.

I HAD HEARD VERY BAD THINGS SO I DID SOME INVESTIGATING. I ENDED UP ORDERING 2 FEMALE YORKIES AND WHEN I PICKED THEM UP FROM THE AIRPORT THEY BOTH HAD NAMONIA SO BAD I HAD TO TAKE THEM STRAIT TO THE VET. THIS WAS 4 WEEKS AGO AND ONE POOR GIRL STILL ISN'T WELL. SHE ALSO SENT BOTH PUPS WITHOUT THEIR AKC PAPERS! I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVEDTHEM AFTER SEVERAL REQUESTS.

Interesting......I just saw your name in another threat in the general section. Sorry to hear that your business could be disrupted because of the namonia. Maybe one of your other regular breeders can help you out.

hello,

did you get your puppies from ultimate puppies? if so I would love to talk. I just picked my dog up at the airport ..major problems!!! dog was head to toe matted, sick, and I didn't even get the dog promised... looks absolutely nothing like the dog I requested on the web sight. Poor dog had an upper respertory infection, rash, dirty . the first day I brought him home, right away I brought him to the vet cost $200.00, and when the dog is well enough i will have to het him groomed and have all the matts cut out, I called starmye haplain to tell her how upset it was. I told her i was unhappy about the poor condition of the dog I received, and she told me to ship the dog back to her? I asked her who would pay for shipping? she wouldn't pay for shipping plus, I would have to pay to have a new dog shipped, that would put me $600.00... that's funny, she guarantee a healthy dog upon arrival and when a I receive a sick dog she wont even pay for shipping. she new I was STUCK'' I said please do the right thing and pay for the puppies vet bill minus the office visit( i would pay for that). she rushed me off the phone told me she needed to talk to her husband and she would call me back and never did.what kind of breeder does that ?. I would like to say buyer beware! if you are considering getting a puppy from these people, don't let the beautiful well groomed puppies on the website fool you, Oh, and the nice family on the home page,. as far as i am concerned it is all a scam!

i'm sorry, no, i thought i was responding to the woman that bought 2 puppies from ultimate puppies, i purchased one dog yesterday i'm sorry, i think i did someting wrong when responding. sorry!!

There is a horrible review on Ultimate Puppies in the breeder reeiw section and some postings where they have been investigated as a puppy mill. I contacted them once and had to threaten to sue them before they would stop harrassing me to buy a puppy.

Being able to register your dogs with AKC does not guarantee that you are an ethical breeder or business person. AKC will only prove that the dog is pure bred and if the woman is investigated she can be suspended and fined but that doesn't mena that she's honest. Buyer beware is truly the montra in this business so everyone needs to do alot of research. As the popularity of this breed increases it seems that the ethical breeders get fewer and the scams get bigger. I feel so sorry for the sick pups and the poor people who end up taken. I wish you all healthy pups who will give you years of love.

just thought i would put in my 2 cents worth here.

I would never buy a puppy from someone i dont know well unless i can go to their facility and look around for the right puppy. you dont know their temperment in advance unless you do this.
If you dont meet the parents of the puppy you also have no idea of what you will be looking at in the future. (temperment)
you also dont know if the parents advertised are the actual parents.
you dont know if the place you are buying from is a puppy mill if you "order" your puppy online.
being on here helps so you can ask about breeders and that is a good start but you also need to do reserch to find the right temperment for you.
every line is different and every dog is different, so take the time and do it right and everyone will be happy in the end

I'm beginning to think you are Starmye:thumbdown And, you're really desperate now, to drag up old threads to promote her! Are her puppy sales suffering as much as her dogs????:confused:

If you're not Starmye, do you realize by promoting her, you're partially responsible for perpetuating the suffering of many dogs ?!?!?

A little suspicious her only posts have been only on these particular threads

I'm thinking she is trying to make certain that when you google Starmye/Ultimate Puppies, some good reviews will be at the top of your Google search.

Those that have purchased sick puppies from her should go and leave their comments here too!

Red flags that would probably keep me from investigating further:
Over one hundred dogs! Several different breeds! Auctions her dogs! Sells to brokers & pet stores! USDA violations! Complaints of not standing behind guarantees! Complaints of sickness! Complaints on Ripoffreport.com and complaintsboard.com, among others! I always get suspicious when I see a site that dresses the puppies for sale up in beads, boas, and the like.

If you bought a pup and named him "Mr. Nubbers" than why on your profile is a pic of Sadie? Isn't Sadie your pup? And isn't Sadie a girl?

Don't judge me.... I at the time I thought she was a reputable breeder and would do the right thing... so you have no Idea what you are talking about. The moment I received the puppy he had several ailments, and just for the record I did keep the puppy regardless of the hundreds of dollars I had spent the very first week.. leading to thousands over the months.... the point is when you purchase a sick dog and you are promised a healthy dog the so called breeder should stand by his/her guarantee .

Well I wasn't saying that you shouldn't contact her to complain about receiving a sick dog, because that is 100% unacceptable for her to wrongly educate you and others on her breeding qualities.
I think everything happens for a reason and that little puppy was meant to be saved by you!

No but you are interpreting my intension of wanting to send my puppy back and that's not the case!!, I just wanted Starmye to stand by her guarantee... My complaint on Yorkie talk was just to warn potential customers.

I don't think you did anything wrong. I believe that most people who received a puppy with a health guarantee, and the puppy came unhealthy, would want to enforce that guarantee. Sometimes the best thing to do IS to send the puppy back if the breeder is willing to do that. You have to do what is best for you and your family as well. I certainly didn't interpret your post or your intentions as being uncaring. I am more concerned about this terrible BREEDER, and you were only trying to share your story to confirm the accusations of others. :)
