I think there is a difference in breeders from one country to another.. Here is the US a respected exhibitor would not place their puppies with just anyone.. They would not place their puppies for sale on some of the sites where the LBV dogs are advertised.. Most of the respected exhibitors here in the US would much rather place their altered puppies/adults into loving pet homes than risk the chance of one of their dogs ending up in a bad situation.. I do know of alot of "breeders" that do not show who have purchased the LBV dogs to be able to make more money off of their puppies, because of the champion pedigree.. I also do know from a friend the personal nightmare she struggled through with a LBV dog..

I am trying not to bad mouth LBV, the buyer has be careful..LBV does not have a good rep here in south FLorida...I have seen 3 litters that were shipped to brokers, most were black cotton...whether it was a great deal or not remains to be seen..post some pic's of her and ped...

Your going to have to bit the bullet on this one simply because you did what should have never been done in the first place. You bought the dog sight unseen. I can't believe they were also ready to breed this baby on her first heat cycle. I hope if you keep her you will have her spayed and forget about breeding. Save your money on the registration papers. Learn by this mistake. At least you saved her from I'm sure a death by having pups on the first heat. Those people are con artists.

There are reputable breeders here in the US that have quality dogs, I can't figure out how importing would be a better option. I would much rather be able to get to know the breeder...oh yeah, and the dog...before I made my decision...ESPECIALLY if I planned on breeding it.

No. The breeder I purchased her from only owns 4 females and 1 male. Well...now 3 because I bought 1. Her name is Leslie.

First of all...they were not planning on breeding her in her first heat so I do not know WHERE you got that idea. I simply stated that she was in NO RUSH to get her AKC registered as she was NOT old enough to breed. SECOND OF ALL who said I bought her sight unseen? For everyone's information my Mother in Law lives in Florida and went and saw her in person AND sent videos of the puppy before we purchased her. My mother in law ALSO took her to her vet and had her checked for knee and bite problems and she checked out 100% ok. For someone who does not know me you make a lot of assumptions. And ALSO I never said I planned on breeding her. BUT I was thinking of starting to breed and wanted to get a quiality dog IF I decided to...which I did.

Ok I do not know who Titana is so I do not understand that part. I do not understand what picture or a pedigree have to do with my post. I was simply asking how to handle the paper and shot situation. Not to be ganged up on about the place that she came from. So thanks in advance to everyone for making a new member feel so welcome. But just to appease everyone.. here is her photo.

Oh really? Please refer to post #140...your post where you state you do plan on breeding this girl.

Your thread is titled "I need your advice" and that is exactly what you were getting...any and all advice anyone could think of INCLUDING what others know about this breeder that you may not know. I'm not sure why you are so upset here.
I don't think anyone here is trying to make a 'new member' feel unwelcome--you just seem to have gotten some answers that were not what you were looking for. That does tend to happen on public forums...

I needed advice on papers and shot records from a breeder in FLORIDA. I could care less how you feel about Lake Buena Vista. I did not EVEN get my little girl from them!! This advice had nothing to do with them. I LOVE my dog whether she came from the POUND like my other dog or from the TOP breeder in the world. THAT I needed no advice on! But thanks anyways. And I am not 100% sure whether I will breed or not. But we decided to ad a new family member and in the event that I do decide to...I went ahead and was responsible and found a girl that would be a good choice for adding to the Yorkie breed in the event that I do decide to infact breed her. ANd yes that does require full registration....however I never stated that LURED me to her. My Aunt breeds, shows, rescues, and trains dogs for Police departments as narcotics and bomb dogs and has done so for longer than you have been alive according to your profile birth date. SO I have been raised around it all of my life and know what it involves. I am just not sure I am ready for the responsibility at this time. You are very quick to start a confrontation and are looking for a fight. I have explained what advice I was seeking...I got the advice I needed...and I have no need to explain myself any further to you. Thanks!;)

First off I would like to say your new girl has a very pretty head.. Secondly I would like to say this is a forum filled with many people, mostly pet owners, some show exhibitors and a few more breeders.. We all see things differently and many times do not agree.. But as I have learnt when you bring things to an open board you are definitely going to receive comments from each aspect of the yorkie world.. Some you will like and some you will not!

I would suspect Leslie purchased your girl from Victoria Puppy, which is owned by Tatiana.. I believe LBV Kennels ships their dogs to Tatiana to sell.. Here is the link to the ads on Puppyfind for the LBV dogs..

Sorry you felt like you were getting picked on...but I have to say you little girl is absolutely beautiful...and I would be upset with the breeder for the shots and the reg..I hope the breeder will make it right with you....:p
