in labor need some questions answered okay little girl started this morning going into labor we have had the plug come out about an hour ago, nothing seems to be happending now, she is nesting and gets up to squat and she poos a little and some liquid is dripping occassionally .. THIS IS OUT FIRST TIME..is everything sound like its going correctly? i was worried about the time frame |
You might let her go out to potty...just be careful to watch her very closely. |
well i hate to let her out of the pin b/c she wants under the bed, now i have her in an xpen w/ towels, a blanket and lots of pee pee pads |
Since she has already lost her plug, I do not think I would let her outside to go potty.....I would want to keep her in the most sterile spot that I could. Please keep us posted on her progress. If you get overly concerned, I would give your vet a call. Tammy |
Sounds like everything is progressing well... everything you described is normal... she should be giving birth sometime later today....!!! Keep us posted!! Good luck. :) |
Any puppies yet? It took mine a good couple of hours after the bubble popped to have them. Hope all is going okay there. |

If you haven't already try giving mom some Canned Goats milk with equal parts of distilled water, tablespoon of Karo Syrup and a well beaten egg yolk. Give a bowl full it will help her get some energy and help bring in her milk |
