Reputable breeder?? Hellllllp!! I'm currently living in NC and am looking for reputable breeders. I'm having such a hard time. I'm getting very discouraged. Can anyone please recommend someone in this or surrounding areas?? Thank you so much for any info!! |
Miracle Yorkies Hi you must visit www.miracleyorkies.com. This is a great occasional breeder in NC but you must have the $$$. because they are great quality and good quality is priceless. Hope this helps LOL. |
there are a lot of great breeders in nc. marsha at miracle yorkies is great but she ranks fairly with some of the others who have been into it for yrs and yrs. she's a great breeder but not the only one out there. dibs to marsha cause her little "chantilly" is just gorgeous!!!!! but there are other nice breeders out there in nc who put there heart and soul into and have been in the breed for many yrs. i would suggest you go to www.breeders.net and talk to all the breeders in your zip code area. just my thoughts as a 10 year veteran....best wishes! |
I live in NC also. I have contacted over twenty breeders in NC and SC and didn't find one that had female yorkies, or had the quality I was looking for. I finally found a little gal with quality, but I will be traveling far (I mean far) to get her in a couple of weeks. PM me. I'd be glad to share who I have contacted. You may have more luck if you're looking for a male yorkie. |
I spoke to a YTCA breder in NC that I got off of their website. She was very nice and was able to give me the names of other breeders in that area. Kamegko Yorkies is also in NC but I had a hard time getting ahold of them by phone, they did respond to my email tho. Good luck in your search. |
diva pup, Do you live in NC? We just started the Eastern NC PlayDate. Wondering if you live closeby and might be interested. If you are, PM me Thanks |
to whomever forwarded my thread to miracleyorkies: this is to whomever sent my thread to marsha: it does not say anything negative about her and i am re-reading it right now. it says she is a great breeder and ranks fairly and I'LL BE THE FIRST TO ADMIT THAT SO DO I ! i'm not a show breeder and i dont believe marsha at miracle yorkies is either and i really like marsha, so if what i said was thought to be offensive, then you should re-read what i said. it plainly stated that there are lots of breeders in nc and that she could check around within her zip code area. and i dont even have any pups available and won't for a while so please dont think i was steering anyone towards me. i believe that when you have an opinion in this world as i do, that people tend to take it the wrong way alot of the time. and back to the original topic and person who started this topic, i hope you find a good breeder and a wonderful puppy, i believe that's what this was about. |

I hope the breeder who received the email returned your compliment and was favorably impressed with your words of approval. |

kim, thanks. i did just speak to marsha at miracle yorkies and she was not offended. marsha and i have known one another for about a year and a half now. we've chit chatted off and on and i am a member of her yorkiesouth list. i just felt that who ever forwarded the thread to her was trying to make me look like i was saying something bad towards marsha and if you can read and comprehend what you read, it clearly wasn't. people are so touchy! one of the reasons i even found out about yorkie talk was because i checked it out one day and i noticed i had even been discussed by people who dont even know me or my dogs.(and i took that as a compliment if the truth be known) so i thought i'd join in. i love to meet people with yorkies and also those who breed. i wouldnt be where i am today if i hadnt had the help of a breeder many yrs ago. i only regret that this has become such a competition and that we as breeders cannot lean on one another because everyone wants to claim to be the best. it's only natural for people to act in such a way, but it is also sad to me personally. |

response to this person who wanted a yorkie. Keep up the good work. You will find that there are people who are not happy unless- they are trying to cause problems and fighting. Just chalk this up to one of the problem children and inmature behavior. |
