Please need prayers
 

My friend yorkie Miss Katey, started having puppies yesterday at 9:45 am . I mean her first one was born then, a little girl 3oz and then the wait was on. She called me to tell me because I was suppose to get a little boy from this litter or the third girl if there was no boy. Our other friend was helping Reba and Miss Katey (she get the pick of the girls). After several hours and nothing Reba started calling vets Miss Katey was showing a little green discharge.
The vet in our town had us bring her and the wee one in and the vet gave Miss Katey a total of 3 oxy shots after a total of 4 hours she delivered another little girl 2oz but not the after birth and she still felt like there might be another little one. Now Katey is showing alot more green discharge. And she wasn't pushing at all. Well to make a long story short poor Miss Katey X-ray showed her uteris was overly large and the vet said it looks like one pup was dead and she was showing signs of pertizis(sp) infection . SO she has to be spayed right now. So please pray for her and her babies. Reba's friend just had a litter (yorkies) Friday so she took the pups home with her . So prayer that her bitch will also accept the new little ones.
Miss Katey has never had trouble before this would of been her 4th litter and she is 5 1/2 yr old.

I heard from Reba and the surragated mother took to the pups and is treating them like her own. That is one problem solved now for Miss Katey. If something happens to her my friend will be just heartbroken.

Katey is home and back with her babies. Katey made it through great.
But we're scared the littlest girl might not make it. she is just so tiny and she wants to nurse but she won't stay on. It didn't eat very well at our friend house. And this morning we were all trying to get her to stay onthe nipple
When I left they are going to try bottle feeding her alittle just to build up her strength. So please keep praying for them. The other little girl is getting fat and sassy.

How sad. Hopefully the little one will start to eat better and gain her strength. Please keep us posted.

If she is too weak and small to suckle, whey don't they tube feed her?

Momma is doing good so far. The biggest girl is eatting like a little piggy.
The littlest girl is being bottle feed every every 2 hours. So far she is still with Reba and the mommy. So your prayers are still needed.
I think that is what is keeping the little one with us....:thumbup: She is so tiny.
