Can Someone find a pic of CH Tyava's Sure Shot Please this dog is amazing i luv it. CH Tyava's Sure Shot! |
Sorry, but pictures of Chandler can not be posted without permission of the owner. |
Akc Go to the AKC web site..look at the video from the Garden, you can see him there... If a photo is published in an advertizement, to be viewed by the public...I do not see a problem posting it here..but then again perhaps I misunderstand the law. I have seen many Yorkie photo's here. |

google his name i found a couple you can see them there |
Pat, It is my understanding that you must have the owners permission to post the picture. |
Yes, you need owners permission to post photo. But you can go to Ava's web site and see his picture there. You can also see him move in the ring on the Westminster show video too. Just FYIs. T. |
pic What about Johnny Handsome who was just posted..I realize he is dead, but is there a difference?..once a photo is public domain I did not know this...of course you can not remove photo's from web sites..but his pic is all over the mags..never thought it could not be reproduced..like a picture of Elvis.. |

Pat it was my understanding that we can direct them to where the pics/videos are posted, but removing them is considered theft. |
pic I would not post one myself, just wondered why Johnny's pic could be and not Chandler...interesting. I was looking at a breeders web site recently and they pictures of many well known Yorks in history (old adn new ones) section... |

photo's It is legally okay to do so...the breeder knows this when they adverize in magazines that the photo may and will show up all over the world..but how it is used is key. You see many breeders select photo's of fine champions to decorate their web sites..some are very innocent in their motives, others are not...they hope people will think the pups they sell will actually look like these champions. I love beautiful Yorkie photo's and in the beginning might have thought nothing of using them for people to see...but you learn what is ethcially correct with time... Posting on a forum with the owners/breeders name attached can in no way deceive..JMO I did have a breeder take a photo of some of my puppies and use it to advertize her puppy selling web site...she thought I would be honored..and it took alot of explaining to show her how unethical that was...none of the pups for sale were mine or even the same bloodline...a rose is a rose, but a Yorkie is not a Yorkie...! |
