I purchased what was advertised as a 3 pound at most, quality male. From WWW.YORKIEBABIEDOLLS.COM from Don Montgomery.
What I received at the air port was a 3 pound starved pup, ridden with coccidia, a second row of teeth, and definitely not of quality. He is now a 6 pounder with a terrible coat and huge ears. But it gets worse, 2 months later he starts limping on his back leg. He was diagnosed with leg-calf Perthes disease and required a $1500 dollar surgery. This disease is inherited from this parents or someone in his parents line, I told Don about this yet he still breeds both the parents EVERY SINGLE HEAT!!! He has way to many females AND HE IS BREEDING THEM ALL EVERY HEAT, which is just horrible for their health and the puppies too. It breaks my heart that he is just using up these poor dogs and for what? MONEY? An adult female should be breed at most once a year, which is every other heat and should be spayed by the age of 6 yrs. Otherwise the health of the mother suffers greatly!!
Don offers a health guarantee but he does not stand by it at all. I am just devastated that I did not do my research on THE BREEDER before I purchased. Don does all his business through the internet, so please spread the word on him and hopefully we can put him out of business.
WARNING: You must go to the premises before purchasing a puppy. See their living conditions and make sure you agree with the breeders breeding practices, ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS because you only want to support GOOD breeders.
There are hundreds of puppymils making a fortune on torturing these poor animals, HELP GIVE YORKIES A VOICE!! And report them to your local ASPCA!!

I'm so sorry for you and your baby:( I'm sure that you love him anyway, but it's not right to get less than what you paid for, and I'm sure you paid out the nose for him:(

There are lots of great breeders right here at YT, so when you're in the market for another baby, check them out:D I hope your little guy is doing better since his surgery.

Oh YES I love my lil guy soo much, I know none of this is his fault, I just hope I can help this from happening to anyone else.
My lil guy is recovering great, he is back to wrestleing with my 2 other yorkies.

Thats awful. And I have seen this site many, many times and I know they charge an arm and a leg for their dogs!

Now that I really think about it, it really pisses me off (sorry). Poor dogs. So tired of trashy people like this that use animals to make a dollar.

Have you looked into the Puppy Lemon Laws!?!? Ca has so many laws! Please do look them up!

well I am in CA and he is in Oklahoma. The lemon laws are for pet stores I think, but then it corrects it self and says to any breeder who has more then two litters. So it is confussing. I have written to an attorney about the lemon laws but no answer back yet.
