If you don't take credit cards :p then I would only take cash. I think if you check eBay alot of sellers will "not" take USPS money orders.... funny you'd think they're safe - but that's not the case. Almost anything can be forged nowadays. I work at a very large credit card distribution center and we've even seen counterfeit money. One gal was saying that she was given counterfeit money when she cashed her check and when she took it back to the bank - they took it back, but did not give her anything in return! Yep.... they kept it to turn into the "Feds" (federal offence) but she was out the money. Go figure! :eek: </IMG> |
I vote scam doll. If she wants to she can send the depo via paypal and then when she picks the pup send the balance the same way or pay in cash when she picks up the pup. Such dirt bags out there. |
If she is coming to get the pup... tell her to have CASH IN HAND!! ... it shouldn't be a problem if she "really" has money in her account!!!!!! :confused: Be careful.... |

worked it out We have worked it out. She is a new member here that got flammed pretty bad over a thread she asked a few questions in. Seems to be a very nice person after we got all the details worked out. Now, I am waiting for my deposit to arrive. That will seal the deal. |

There is such a thing because thats how i do most of my banking. The thing with that is it takes at least four days from the time she sets it up over the internet for it to actually arive to you. Coming from a person who does electronic checking I would not accept it from her because who is to say that she will send it and if she does like i said before it takes four days for the bank to get it from her computer into your hands then it takes another day or two to cash and if its a bad check it takes you about six days after the fact to realize it and the lady and they furbaby are long gone by that time. |
