Anyone know these breeders? I'm trying to do my homework and find a reputable breeder within driving distance of us. We'd like to get another puppy (in the near future) so I'm starting to check 'em out. Please let me know if you have any info (good or bad) about the breeders below. Thank You!!! Noble star yorkies I think is partners or good friends with www.epetitepuppy.com so you maybe can drop them an email to ask. Tarmar's I believe is a member here she goes by Bugaboos Mom and she seems very honest and I believe she has started showing so oviously she is headed in the right direct. The other I really don't know. Hope this helps.:animal36 |
Hello, have you tried with the Yorkshire terrier club of America? Or the AKC web site? there are many links there. Anyway, no I do not know those breeders but I know a few in california. Here the list: Dolce Sinfonia www.dolcesinfonia.com Solo Divo www.solodivo.com Wee-R-Yorkies www.weeryorkies.com Vassae Square http://www.vassarsquare.com :) |
Vassar Squares yorkies are no more - John and Terri passed away and others keep their site up as a memorial. They are missed a lot! They did have beautiful yorkies. I think Terri is the one that started the Liver Shunts foundation. And Dolce Sinfonia has nice yorkies, but very expensive. You could ask though. I looked at Jo-Lee's and Scruffy and the sites looked okay and had some nice show dogs. Best of luck in your search.T. |

Dolce Sinofina - Show dogs, but mostly in Europe-very expensive. although I recently saw one of her dogs being handled by Mandy Carlson in Oklahoma Vassar Square - Terri Shumsky passed away a year ago last March, but had not bred for a number of years. She was an AKC Judge |

3250 Pierremont Rd. Reno, NV 89503-1935 I didn't do a website search, but she is a YTCA member. |
Phelan, California How big is Phelan? I live in California and dont know where that is but on the Akc suspension list there are three or four people from there that are suspended. I do not think it is any of the persons you have listed unless they are using another name...still, I would be carefull. |

I would e-mail/call Scruffy's and ask about health testing. Other than that she looks good. Just make sure you look at the paperwork to back her claims. |

Phelan is in Southern California, in the foothills of San Bernadino Mountains. Not a big community. Cynthia Landry is YTCA member good standings. Any member that is suspended from AKC is automatically suspended from YTCA. |

i cannot help you out, looks like you got some good places to look just wishing you good luck on your search |
Pam and Cynthia I can tell you from first hand experience that Cynthia (Cyndi) of Scruffystoydogs.com and Pam of noblestaryorkies.net are two of the most ethical, thoughtful, and genuinely-loving-of-dogs people whom I have met in Southern California. They are both located out in Phelan, which is in the high desert area of Southern California, about 1.5-2 hours from most parts of Los Angeles. My baby came from Florida, and when he recently passed, I began my search for another Yorkie soul to share my life. Through Cyndi I had the pleasure of meeting Pam. Each of these women both ADORE their doggies, are responsible and kind, and believe in the improvement of the breed as well. These are two individuals who know that there are politics in the breeding and showing of dogs, and though they are conscious of this, they each, from what I could tell in conversations, put the animals first. Their concern is to treat their doggies well, raise healthy and quality puppies and place those babies with the best possible fit in forever homes. Please consider both Cyndi and Pam if you are looking for puppies. |
