The big day is closer!!! More questions The big day is getting closer and closer I think I have everything ready for the whelping thanks to all the advice received! :D Now I have questions on what I need to do when the puppies come out??? I have no idea I was reading some posts about fluid and cleaning PLEASE I need help I have no clue on what to do. :eek: Any advice??? |

Ok starting to read and questions begin HELP :eek: When the puppy comes out I break the sack?? and then aspirate?? and then cut the cord?? what do you do with the placenta?? Sorry I just want to make sure I know what to do :confused: |

Thanks so much! I have done much reading and have learned alot of thing I had no idea would happen thanks so much for all the advice!! I will keep asking as thing pop up in my head I hope its ok with you :confused: We had X-ray day yesterday and my Vet said we will be having 4 but he said it could probably be 5 he also got a little concern because the size of the heads are just the size of the birth canal he said the puppies are big so he said if she pushes for a long period of time and the puppy does not come out I have to call him immediately because we would have to do a c-section So I got more scared!!! |
i heard that you should let them eat at least one placenta because there is a chemical that will start the mom to produce milk( i am no expert) But just curious |
