keeping one behind her. there is one baby that somehow keeps ending up behind Kandy between her and the side of the wheelping box. I keep moving it. it is about the same size as the others and hasn't lost any weight. it's nice and warm. She is not trying to move it away, i think it just crawls there. Doesn't seem like anything is wrong. Should I worry. She isn't rejecting it. |
As long as it is staying with her and the other littermates I wouldn't worry. If it is moving away from the "crowd" then I am concerned. Check the temperature and maybe it is moving there to get warmer (or cooler). Usually, the pups do stay right together in a pile though. |
How old are they? I had one "loner" pup and he turned out great. He just liked to sleep off by himself. That wasn't until he was a few weeks old though, not when he was really small. |
She is three days old today. She isn't really a loner and is always nice and warm. it just seems when they are sleeping a lot of the time, all the others are in front of kandy close to her belly and this one is in the back snuggled up to mommy. I pull her out and put her in the pile tho. Now, last night and tonight they have been pile up in a 'puppy pile". |
Awwwww...I bet they are all cuties :p |
