Caraneal Yorkies
 
Does anyone here know anything about Caraneal Yorkies or Georgette Franzoni? I met her yesterday ( I think, she really wouldn't talk) but her kennel was represented there. I have a pup who is Charged & ready's great-grandbaby and I'm doing a pedigree search. Would like to know more about this kennel but can't find their website. :) :)

I have a daughter and a grand daughter of Kristopher . I am very satisfied about them .

Georgette is a very dedicated breeders . She don't have a website .

I have known Georgette for over 20 yrs..she is a truly dedicated to the betterment of the breed. It is a misconception that all good breeders have web sites...Georgette breeds/shows for her own pleasure and the betterment of the breed...she has no time or need to advertize her dogs..people in the Yorkie world know her record of ethic's..a web site is for advertizing and bragging most of the time..Georgette needs to do niether.

Known Georgette many years. She is a wonderful breeder. And a wonderful person.

I don't have a website at this point either but it sure does come in handy when you want to know more about a kennel. I was just curious as to what she looks like because I think I spoke with her yesterday. I also wanted to take a better look at her dogs since 2 of mine have her Charged & Ready in their line. Where is her Kennel located? :confused: :confused:

I met Georgette last year . She is a wonderful breeder and wonderful person .

She lives in Virginia .

This may sound naive but how did you get ahold of a Caraneal dog if you live in Canada? Do you have pics of them. 2 of my dogs have kristopher in their lines, Cricket on both sire and dam. I am doing a search, trying to determine what characteristics come from what line. :) :)

I often go to U.S.A. dogshows . I let myself known by the breeders and don't rush things .

I'm not trying to rush things, just get an education so that I can be a good breeder. I find that some of these people are difficult to talk to at shows. They're in a hurry and occupied with their own concerns. I just wanted to know what dominating characteristics are coming out of her lines! :confused: :confused: :confused:

I didn't realize that Caraneal was in my Cricket's pedigree until I researched it to the 6th generation today. Hopefully I'll run into her at an other show and she'll have time to talk a bit. :) :)

Did you go up and introduce yourself? I have always found Georgette to be very friendly! Her breeding record of top Yorkies is one of the best in the US. She has produced some of the top dogs in the last 20 years. I know many top breeders of Yorkies that do not have a website and feel that this does not reflect on the quality of their breeding program!

I don't even know if it was Georgette, that's why I was looking for a website. I was hoping for a picture and a better look at her dogs. They were all clustered together after finishing in the breed ring and I went up to congrad. the lady that had shown the specialty that had taken best of breed. She was holding the bitch that they had shown. I liked the look of the bitch, it was along similar lines to my Connor. I told her I loved the look of her little girl, that it reminded me a bit of Connor and asked who the breeder was. She informed me that she was (Caraneal) and than talked right through me to the man behind me, gave him directions and than turned away. I don't know if she was offended because I didn't know who she was or that I compared Connor to her bitch. Actually Connor's line runs through her Rough & Ready, I just know what I like. Once I found that her dog is also cricket's great granddad, I got curious about her and thought I'd ask. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
