Pish Pads? Someone on here posted about using pish pads in the whelpiing box. i think it was kimberely but not sure. I am getting ready to order some so my whelping box will be nicer for kandy than it was for Silk. i wonder, do you put anything down over them or just let them whelp on the pad? |
I generally use a lot of layers of towels during the whelp since the mamas need to dig and they are absorbent, but remove them and leave just the pish pad after we're done. There is no chance of the mama burying pups in blankets or towels since the bottom layer 'sticks' to the whelping box and it is absorbent and clean. |
Thanks. I am ordering just two to start with. |
I have some pish pad on the way from a friend who bought a roll. I'm the try it before I buy it kinda person. However I have heard great things about them and had just put off trying them for so long because I had settled into my own little "system". I'm sure I'm going to love them according to what all my friend told me about them. I'll let you know... |
Got my pish pad this evening. Love love love it! It's alot thinner than I was expecting which is a plus. I'm ordering an entire roll. I had heard alot about these from other breeders on this forum in the past. Thank you to my friend for sending this to me! You have officially made my life a little easier! ;) The ONLY thing I don't like about them is they should not be thrown in the dryer, which I like to do with my dog bedding. But I guess if you have enough of it cut to your liking to go around..you can air dry ahead of time while having some already dry and ready to use as needed. |

Where can you order just a couple and not a whole roll? |
