Way to go, Janet!!!!!!! Wouldn't it be AWESOME if YorkieTalk ended up on Dateline?! |
send it! that would be great! |
Email to Fannin County Sheriff I just sent the following email to Officer Moore. Remember YTers, we have to be willing to back up this operation with more than just opinions. Not only does he need to know the facts, he also needs to know he is supported by many people all over the State of Texas and that we're ready to stand up and do what's necessary. Officer Moore: Thank you so much for offering to check out this awful breeding situation. There are many of us who would be more than happy to help care for these sick and unsocialized animals after their release from this torturous environment. Many of these puppy mills can be found throughout the state, however, if we can just tackle one at a time, we can make a difference. Again, thank you. Jacki Keith PO Box 394 Bacliff, TX 77518 (218) 559-3564 If any YTer knows of any other puppy mill, let's find the name of the county, the sheriff and start a revolution. If they're not aware of what's going on, how can they change it? Yes, getting Jeff Dane exposed on Nightline would be great, but I'm sure they won't be willing to do a story on every puppy mill we try to put an end to. Let's not let this engine run out of steam! |

I my self have read really bad story's on this guy, I totally agree that this guy needs to be stopped ASAP  ...How about if some would start a PETITION on closing this guy down, you know may be we can get enough signatures to close him down, can that be possible:confused: |
jeff dane, you are one creep, id like to get my hands on. I just sent off my letter to mr moore. Any more letters you need sent, let me know, I'm here to help in anyway I can. |
Hmmm... I see that on Jeff Dane's reference page on his site, he's got a bunch of pics of celebrities- one particulary Bruce Willis holding a yorkie. I guess JD's implying that these celebrities got their dogs from him? That's funny because I googled Bruce Willis and his yorkie... and found this: http://www.brucewillis.com/notes/jou...ail.cfm?j_id=1 According to Bruce Willis himself, he got Wolfie at a pet store in Malibu. I wonder how Bruce Willis would feel if he knew some animal abuser is using his name to make money. |
Bruce seems to love his dog. I don't think he would be very fond of Jeff Dane. I am so glad that people are actually doing something about scumbags like Jeff Dane. It breaks my heart looking at those poor little yorkies. If there is anything I can do, I will! Although I live far away I can write letters to the links provided by you guys. I will let you know what happens. Thank you guys for showing so much concern about this, I hope they stop Jeff Dane asap! |
You all are amazing! I haven't had any experiences with him except for seeing the poor little babies on his site and hearing stories. I will give as much support as I can...I'll help find homes for the poor babies if nothing else! |
It is nausiating for sure. He will get his one day. I can't believe 100 in crates? That is so cruel! |
Have you seen the pics on his website, there are maybe 3-4 pups per cage, and they are not tiny cages. Not sure how that caculates as cruel, somebody please explain!!!??? |

And he is a BROKER!!!!!!!!! He does not breed all of those yorkies. He buys them from other people (backyard breeders perhaps) and sells them for outrageous prices. |
A breeder that doesn't want their dogs pooping all over the floor or puppies chewing on cords, plastic, etc.!!! I have never been to a breeders house that didn't have their dogs in cages, unless they have a very SMALL operation. You can not tell me that everybody on this website never puts their dog in a kennel, because it's not true, dog trainers have actually proved that kennel training is effective sorry if you don't feel that's true. |
How are you sure about that???? |
Yorkie puppies are so tiny and need lots of attention in order to grow and mature healthily. How can he possibly ensure this when he has HUNDREDS of puppies at a time? |

I have actually bought 5 dogs from him to start my breeding program, never have had any problems and my vet proclaimed all 5 to be in perfect health. Can't imagine that he typed up all those references of happy customers himself (sure is a bunch) Anyway If you haven't had personal experience with him you shouldn't agree with what everyone else has to say just to make friends. |
I agree puppies need attention to grow into happy adults, and from his pics and when I have visited his place, they do provide attention, do you honestly think that they would put the pups in the cages and never pick up or handle them again until they sold? |

Please don't feed the troll. :yoda: |
His operation is not a one person operation he has many employees to make sure the pups are taken care of and socialized with people and other pups. |

Have you met the parents of ALL your 5 puppies? Do you have the DNA and pedigree of all the puppies? Did you have them all tested for LPs and Liver Shunts, 2 very common genetic problems in yorkies? It is not a good idea to start a breeding program without all this information. I have also personally met people who have asked to see the parents on their puppy and he refuses to show them. How do you explain that?? |
