Wow! Wow! I'm glad I found this thread.. almost bought a puppy from him.. a cute little chocolate one he has on his site right now.. but I did notice something when I looked at his pic, the little guy looked terrified. So I decided to do some more research, and man am I glad. From the way it sounds, this guy needs to be put out of business.. and even from looking at his site, how is it even possible to have that many dogs for sale at one time? and $10,000.. that is just insane. Thanks to all of you who voiced your opinions in order to help others out, and to steer away from JD & yorkiepup.com Alicia |
Texas Animal Protection and/or Licensing Agencies?? Doesn't Texas have animal protection agencies?? If this place was as crowded and dirty as the lady said it needs to have the animal protection people pay a little surprise visit! Also, how about a kennel license? Most counties and cities have a limit on how many dogs you can own before you have to be a licensed kennel. Licensing would suggest that someone would have the authority to check the premises. Also letters to the editor of the local paper might help. :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa :animal-pa |

all you have to do is go to his site.....take a look and let us know what you feel. also, i have emailed him for pictures of his kennel. he refused to send me pictures or tell me if they are kept in the home or kennel....hummmm why wouldn't he tell me or show me a picture?????????? |
How could you make a profit?? Completely irrelevant, but I am wondering how many people would buy a dog from his site to resell?? Let's see if he wants $5-$10 thousand dollars for a puppy, you might have some problems making a profit on the resell - hmmm, maybe you could trade it for a car?? From his site............ Breeder & re-seller notice Any pup or dog sold by Yorkiepup.com that is being used for re-sale or breeding(s) purposes, whether by a individual, hobby breeder or by a professional, Does not come with any health guarantee, period! We never knowingly sell a pup to be resold. 99% of the people who re-sell our pups do this on the pretence of wanting a new family pet when they call. We NEVER sell pup(s) to resellers if they are truthful about their intentions at the time of inquiring about a pup. People who buy pup(s) from yorkiepup.com with the intention to list, advertise, or place that pup for re-sale have no warranty or guarantee what so ever once they touch that pup. We have found that many pups will get sick at homes of people who buy & sell dogs because of the inadequate boarding facilities & because of the many diseases brought into the place that pups are sold out of by the turn over of animals. One way to cover their butts. We also never state that a pup will have the ability to have pups, or will better the breed. Over bites, joint problems, males with one or no testicles and or any other cosmetic defects might show up as a adult and those should not be passed on to the wanted offspring. We don't raise pups to be sold as breeders, but when a breeder does buy pup(s) from us or any other new breeder with the intention to have litters to sell, its buyer beware! We DO NOT and will not help with advise on litters or new pups, paperwork or lost paperwork if a pup bought from us is used to breed. Our goal is to place PETS in homes, not expand the breeding business. It took many, many years for us to get and use great breeding stock. When we first started breeding Yorkies, we found the above statements to be painfully correct and true when it comes to raising pups.[/QUOTE] |
What irony......LOL ROFLMAO......now tell me how funny his comment about......" puppies that go to homes for resale, get sick....due to the inadequate facilities....."......:eyetearss :eyetearss NOT |

most likely him trying to make himself look better pretty lame if you ask me those poor overpriced little dogs!! |
Talking about Hot Pocket: Her skull is the size of a golf ball. Can we say accident waiting to happen? That poor baby!! :( :( :( |
I wonder how Jeff Dane always seems to have alot of smaller sized puppies?? |
http://www.petstorecruelty.org/how%2...20breeders.htm I posted this on another thread but thought it would fit here. I don't see him listed on either of the 2 links they give. THis is suppose to be USDA breeders and I don't see his name on either list. They say if you hvae more that 3 breeding females then your name had better be on this list. If not then it is illegal. They also give an email addy to write and complain to about. I thought this might come in handy for those who have bought sick dogs from him. |
