Beware Baby Doll Yorkies Breeder Sacramento CA I just purchased a pup from her all the time under the impression my puppy was from one of her dogs. I trusted her and neglected to look at my puppies AKC paperwork before I left her house with the pup. My puppy actually came from somewhere in Missouri. The lady Theresa Voqui (BabyDoll Yorkies) was not even the breeder or litter owner. When I asked if I could see the mom she went in back and brought out one of her dogs and said that was the mother and that the father was a yorkie that was not on the premises but belonged to her in laws. I picked the pup up Friday from her house. She waited till I had driven almost all the way down there to tell me she was sick (Giardia and Coccidia, more than likely a puppy mill pup) Thankfully my pup seems healthy enough despite the tummy bugs that she has. I love my pup, but feel totally betrayed and lied to. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, check out your dogs AKC paper work before you leave the breeders house, and ask to see BOTH parents and their AKC Paperwork. I was mistaken in trusting this lady and that she was not lying to me. I don't know what to expect now healthwise from my pup, but hopefully she will be around for awhile! |
Hope your puppy does ok. Make sure you get vet check asap if you haven't already. Sorry you really got the BS with the person you thought was the breeder. Seems there is another section of YT folks been putting stuff like this in. I never thought once to check the papers of my dog before leaving the breeder, but thats great advice! I learn something new each day here! |
I am sorry to hear that you were snookered.... I was too with Tootie, but it ended up great.... he is a beautiful and happy boy... good luck to you... |

Im so sorry that you were trick and that your pup is sick. I will have him in my prayers for his prompt recovery. Thanks for the warning. |
I'm sorry that your little one is sick... Giardia and Coccidia seem to be common for puppies and even puppies that are raised by good, honest breeders can develop these parasites - I hope that your puppy is not from a mill - it's very possible that she's not. Just the same, I know it's disappointing to feel as though you've been 'duped' and start to wonder what it is you've really paid for. Good luck with your little one! |
Went through the same thing.....almost I'm Sorry you went through that! When I was shopping around the Internet, I had called about a dozen Breeders all over the US. no one had a Yorkie available except "YorkieBabies.com" she had claimed that Sir Arthur was bred and owned by her......after I received him @ the Airport he had missed his connecting flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Boston, being the impatient one I had to have him within the next 2 days! To make a long story short, it took her almost 2 yrs. to send me his AKC. Registration Papers after extorting me for another $300.00 it turned out he had been transfered to 3 different owners and he was only 20 weeks old! She lied about everything! Where he was from? His Parents? His age? His Pedigree? His weight? His size? Every little detail were all lies! Anyway I did confront her over the phone and that was purely for my selfish pride. But it was worth it to me anyway......just like "He" was worth every penny that my ex-bf. paid for! She did tell the truth he does "kiss" alot, he is stunning & gorgeous and he is definetly an "Entertainer/Character" so I guess he was well worth that one moment of grief? But I understand your feelings of betrayel too! That Sucks! |
Did you confront her about it? If so what did she have to say? |
Sorry you were lied to. Your furbaby is lucky to be out of there and now in a loving home. I would call her and tell her what you think about her and let her know you are a member of a yorkie site with members all over the world and you let us know what kind of person she was. Sending your little girl a big get well wish. |

Yeah...I sure would have loved to have been a fly on that telephone line...:D Francie |
You are in luck? Are you aware of the disclosure law? She owes you 300% of the purchase price based on California law. Send me a PM and I will send you the law. |

I dont understand how these breeders stay in business when so many people are getting sick dogs from them. I have seen these guys and the Jeff Dane kennel mentioned over and over again in these threads for the same reasons. How do they get away with screwing people over and over again and no one can do anything about it? These guys are asking alot of money for their dogs, you would think they could at least guarantee them and stand behind that guarantee. I would think they would be embarassed to see these comments about them splattered all over the internet and try to make things right when they send out sick dogs. Barb |

I cant believe people have the nerve to do these things. They know people will get angry and confrontational. I wouldnt wont somebody I screwed over showing up at my house. I just dont get it. |
