Roxi's temp Okay. Roxi is about 57 days along. Give or take depending on which tie you go with. I decided to start taking her temp today (debbiejensen.com's chart starts on day 57) and her temp is 98.6. Do I need to start getting nervous yet? |
Oh that sounds so exciting. I bet you're nervous. Good luck on the litter. do you know how many she is having. I see that many of them have xrays done. |
I'd say take it in a few hours, if it stays down yes. Hope everything goes smoothly for mom and babies. I'm sure the more experienced will be along, Listen to them above myself such as Lacy'smom. Hopefully she has a few more days. |

Okay its about 4 hours later and it has gone up to 99.3. I don't know what that means. We took a quick trip to the store and she puked in my car. That has never happened before. Other than that she seems fine. We don't know for sure how many 3-4 the vet thinks. |
It can fluctuate and drive you CRAZY! While going crazy, I have some great web sites for whelping if you are interested....:) . |
Oh don't worry. I have a ton of sites on my favorites list, but it doesn't seem to make the time go faster. How's Tiah doing? |
The vet said she is doing great and we can see 5 perfectly and lined up ready to make an entrance some time soon:D . There could be more. Maybe we'll be having pups at the same time! |

I quess forget the dog-bows.com they use to have something else on that site besides bows I'm sure. Maybe I'm crazy. They do make really beautiful bows though. I have gotten some from there. |

No Roxi pups yet ether. her temp was 100.2 last night and 99.1 this morning. She didn't sleep with us last night which is really odd. She wanted to sleep in the living room on a blanket one of the kids left on the floor. I didn't know she even knew that you could sleep on the floor. I thought she just thought the floor was the only way to get from one piece of furnature to the next. She did finally come to my bed around 5:00 this morning after wanting out to go pee. So of course I didn't sleep well last night bc I was worried about her out on the floor. I noticed when I took her temp this morning that she must have a little diarhea (wow I spelled that wrong). When she was laying in my bed this morning I felt so bad for her. You can really feel the pups wiggling around in there. My husband swears that there has to be 10 in there. |
So she's 58 days now, I guess it was just a fluctuation. Either way, It sure won't be long. What an exciting time. Try to get some rest while you can. |
Hey guys still no puppies, but I did get three new babies today. I traded a horse that I just finished breaking for three yearlings. We are pretty excited. I bought the original horse last year as a yearling with the intent to break her and sell her this year, and the opportunity for me to trade her for the other horses just happen to pop up this week. I think both of us got a pretty good deal. My horse was broke but had no papers, and the new horses all have papers, but are too young to break yet. I'm pretty excited about the intire thing, but not near as excited as I would be if I had puppies. |
Wow! You're gonna have your hands full! I don't mess with horses. I think they're all crazy...a long story. Anyway, keep us updated on your girl. New litters are always exciting! |
Wow, I bet you're EXCITEED!!!!! They are beautiful creatures. I worked at a horse riding stable for a couple of years when I was younger. There's a lot more to it than just riding as any horse person knows! No pups here yet either. |
Love horses we raised minatures for years.Sold them all a year ago,miss going out to the barn to feed them and the smell of them.I grew up with horses always had a big one to ride,my hubby is scared of them so we got rid of the big ones and went to minis.LOved going out to see those tiny babies they had.My sister breaks them she work for John Lyons for years and does a great job. Good luck with your babies, you will have your hands full |

Dallhaus Yorkies I wouldn't go out for dinner and stay late! Just make sure you have everything you need, and stay close to her. When the panting starts, is when I start getting itchy! LOL |
