I thought it was a good idea to. But I wound up takeing them off. I tied each ribbon really loose (for obvious reasons) but they kept falling off. I afraid to tie them tighter. |
sweetr72 thank you so much for doing that. I would of never of figured it out lol. |

I pm'd you with instructions on how to post pics...let me know it if works for you!! Dawn |
Congrats on your babies! Reminds me of my first two litters. I was really nervous. I really didnt know a whole lot, but I thought I did. And I had two litters about a week apart! They sure did look alike! Black and tan.............who could tell them all apart! To me they were all carbon copies. So that made me morrrrrrrrrre nervous. I couldnt tell a darn thing except the color of the puppies. Black and tan, tan and black!!!!! Oh gess how would I ever tell them apart!? .........I marked the end of their tails with finger nail polish:p One litter white, one litter bright red. Not sure if that was the best way to mark.  But at that time it was so important! I really didnt think I could tell them apart. And it worked. They dont all look alike as they mature but as puppies they are hard to tell apart. .... |
i used colored embrodery (sp) thread and croched a chain long enought to go around their necks. just keep watch as they get bigger to change them with the growth. you wouldn't need to crochet a chain, just use the thread. I had them all ready before they were born. as each one came they got their thread. they were then refered to as green ,blue, pink and yellow until they got names. |
My Oh MY! Your new babies are so beautiful! I can't believe how many she had... how big is she? I hope the tiny does well in the next few days! btw, I went to photobucket to look at your puppy pictures, and saw you adorable skin children too... what a beautiful family you have. debbie |

Oh, I am sorry to hear you lost one!!! Thanks, for the nail polish. I think that is what I am going to do if I need to. I don't know how many she is having, I haven't gotten an xray. I don't think I am going to. This is her first litter, she is big to us, we'll see! Good luck with your pups. I may be needing more of your advice soon! Coco is due Sept 23-25. Have fun with your puppies!:) :D Lori |

I'm sorry to hear you lost one. Was it the little one? My Juliet is only 11 wks but I'm interested in breeding her when she's old enough. I know nothing about it and would like to learn more. Any suggestions on where to learn all about breeding??? |
