Holy Moly! Is it bad to say I think I'm ready for my pups to go to their loving forever homes (even though I'll miss them dearly and love them) Holy Moly! Are they a HANDFUL! I can't imagine the people with the litters of 6-7 when they are 8 weeks old. WOW! Wow are they active. And when I let them out of their play yard....LOOK OUT! Boy they chew and bite and tromp and play and run !!!!! They are sooo funny. But yes......(sigh) I think I'm ready for them to torment their new moms. :p (Mind you, I say this....but you know I'm going to BALL like baby when they are gone) |
awwwwwwwwwwww |
Do you still have all your baseboards in tact. If so, you're 1) ahead of me and 2) have not kept them there near long enough.;) (And yes, you WILL cry like a baby...so I've heard... ) |
man...I want a PASSLE of yorkies that chew, bite, tromp, play and run...:D you are SO lucky ! and I sure would be bawling like a baby too if I ever had to say goodbye |
I'll take them off your hands.:D |

LOL! You gave me a good chuckle... They are a handful at that age and up! No doubt:D People always wonder why I gave up my good paying job as a legal asst. Well....just ask my fellow breeders! It was too hard on me and my babies not being here all day with them because they are little stinkers and into everything. I had a little puppy several years ago who chewed up anything and everything he could fit into his mouth. He shredded and ATE paper, piddle pads, you name it. I took him to work with me a few times and I remember my sweet boss telling me that he KNEW my time with him was close to ending because he knew I couldn't leave my babies and concentrate at work. I took 2 hour lunches more than once to drive home and do a puppy check. He was right! hee hee. It is always sad when they leave. I have a hard time with it to this day. But anyone who breeds knows that we cannot possibly keep every puppy that we have, so the time is gonna come to send them to their new families. Tough yes. But the work you have put in can be exhausting and it can be a bit of a relief at times to see them start their new lives. It doens't mean we don't love them to pieces!!! When I keep babies out of my litters at times, my work NEVER ends, LOL I am a full time groomer now who doesn't get paid for it! LOL LOL |
I do agree puppie's are a hand full and to let them go to there new families is bitter sweet but you can't keep them all.And when they are with there new family then you can sleep in and rest again.:) |
HAHA! I think that all breeders have felt that same way at some point in their breeding career!:D |

awwwww i want puppies ! lol |
I still have little repair jobs after my last litter. They had plenty of toys but chewed a window sill by my front door. They are way too much fun to watch.I always cry the most after the last one finds a home. Each one has a different personality.Good luck on finding them homes. Be picky and you will not feel bad as you will know they have the right homes. |
I was so afraid I would be miserable to let them go, but was told, by the time they are 12 weeks, you are ready. Well, as much as I loved them all, I was ready, but sad at the same time. I was picky with my new parents and it helped also to remember how excited I was getting my babies and seeing that same excitement in them. :) |
