Any Ideas for good bedding?? Hi all, I have tried everything I can think of, but I need help. We have recently built a small kennel for our dogs, and cannot come up with a good idea for beds. Obviously it needs to be chew proof, easily cleaned, and COMFORTABLE! Does anyone have any ideas?? We have tried sawdust - too dirty, newspaper - somewhat dirty (gets ripped into shreds by the more playful ones), and rubbermats - don't dry fast enough after washing. Anyone know of something better? We are in the process of making 'cots' with nylon mesh, but not all the dogs like them. I would appreciate any help you can give!! |
Well Daisy & Bear really recommend a king sized pillow top with two comforters and mommy & daddy. :p Well I did a search, some sites say hay or old blankets. The best choice would be the ones with out stuffing for them to pull out. |
bedding When I build mine... I've given this lots of thought.... It will be a room addition to the house with stanless steel bed frames off the ground and waterproof (plastic coated) infant crib mattresses. Theres lots more, but I figure you just want to know the bedding part! LOL! |

Sorry to seem like I am being mean, but even I can't be quiet this time. Dogs are low to the ground, try sniffing sawdust all day! Poor babies. :( |

I read this for the first time in the middle of the night when I was up nursing my little one. I honestly thought that I had to of read it wrong!! Holy cow.... My honest thoughts are that Yorkies are not livestock!!! Would YOU want to sleep on sawdust? |
