Congrats!!! Mom and pups look great...but how long did the whole delivery take? From your posts, it looks like anywhere from 6:30-8:30?? 2 hours for 5 pups? or was it longer. Just wondering....?....Again, Congrats!! Best wishes |
lillie had 7 puppies 5 girls and 2 boys, but one of the girls was stillborn, still a big litter and there all doing well lillies a great mother |
Bella started pushing out the first one at 5pm and finished at 6:45pm. The first 2 were breeched, but the first took 30 minutes. The others came fairly quickly. She more more than finished cleaning one up and the next was on it's way.:animal-pa |

yes its lillies first and only litter lol does bella keep panting? and has she been sick at all? i keep giving lillie full cream milk, yogurts and my vet gave her calcium tablets today i have to give her half a tablet a day, :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 :animal36 |
Yes!! She still pants a lot. I spoke with the vets office this morning, and they said they thought it was normal, but was going to run it by the vet to be sure. We are going in tomorrow morning for our checkup & to have the tails docked.:eek: My wife told me that was my job. She didn't think she could go in to do it. |
4 Attachment(s) aww i couldn,t take them to have there tails docked, we dont do that in England anymore its illegal to do it now,years ago my mam used to bread yorkies and they used to dock there tails then I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow, heres some pics of Lillie and her babies |

Im gutted lost a baby this morning little girl,suppose its natures way, Taking Lillie to vets at 3,oclock she keeps shaking want her checked over i dont want anything happening to her, ill keep you all informed |

Sorry to hear. Bella went this morning for he checkup. All looks good. THe vet said the panting is normal, as long as she is eating & drinking well. She also said to keep her on puppy food until they have all been weened for the extra nutrition and also helps with the production of milk |

Thats great news about Bella and babies, took Lillie to vets she had blood tests and there all normal she has a small bruise on her belly which i have to keep my eye on because it could turn to mastitas but apart from that shes good and also they checked the puppies over and they said they all seem healthy so fingers crossed |
Hiya just wandered how Bella and her babies are, Have they opened there eyes yet? Is she still feeding well? Lillies doing great shes leaving babies more now there eyes arent open yet there 11 days old today but there all growing great |
Congratulations with new puppies! What an exciting time! My Yorkie girl due any time now too(62 days today) we are very close, but no contractions yet, everything prepared, but still waiting, very nervous :confused: ;) |
aww bet your nervous i was real bad but all your tuition will come to you at the time, and if your stuck with anything just ask on here theres always someone on line to help, do you know how many your expecting? is it her first litter? :) Bella is doing great as well as the pups. Eyes still aren't open yet, but hopefully soon. Glad Lillies is doing well. Bella leaves hers quite often too, but likes to be in the same room with us. We had to make 2 spots for her. She has the big box that she stays in at night and when we are not home, but we had to setup a smaller box in the living room for when we are home. Otherwise, she keeps going back & forth between the two not sure where she really wants to be.:) |

Tank you jklehm we finally have 4 puppies delivered yesterday, Mom doing great puppies doing great too, by the time I call my wet and he came (4 a.m in the morning), my girl was almost done with puppies, so I basically did everything by myself, was nervous, but I red a lot of information before about whelping, and have a lot of supply at home, even to do suction. One of our puppy was born almost dead ( no moving no breathing at all), we was stuck with his head out for a long time and was very difficult to push the shoulders part, so I revived him, now he is absolutely fine like everybody else. I have a lot of delivery pictures and puppy pictures, I'll post some soon. Thank you! |
