anypet.com Has anyone heard of these breeders or whatever their called (I guess breeder would be the wrong word to use). My aunt just recently purchased a male yorkie from them he'll be here next week. I was trying to get her to purchase from my breeder Carteryorkies.com but she jumped the gun and put down a deposit. I'm just worried because the pup will be flying from Cali to VA which is a very long flight and she doesn't know where the puppy is coming from. The deposit is non refundable and she's already in love with him. i just hope she made the right choice he's costing her about 1300 with shipping |
Which if those breeders did she buy from? It looks to me like it is a list of individual breeders, and not a broker. |
1 Attachment(s) This was all she sent me, I don't know exactly what breeder she got it from (I don't think she knows either) |
You should see if your aunt has any contact information. There are enough of us in Cali that we might find someone who can try to stop by to check it out. |
How did she pay for the pup, did you use Paypal or something similar? |
I think she used paypal, hold on let me find out...be right back |
She said they took her credit card information over the phone |
pet shop They are NOT breeders...why send all the way to California to get a pet from a pet shop/broker/dealer?? |
Same thing I said but she jumped the gun and put the deposit down on him and it's non refundable. I hope everything works out well for her and Lord (that's what she 's named him) |
pup Yep..deed is done..hope all goes well. |
Okay.. I'm really worried now (for my Aunt). She was originally supposed to get Baron last week but it was too hot to fly, so they were sending him off this week. Which mad no sense to me because this week there was a heat advisory all along the Eastern Seaboard, to me it would have made more sense if they would have sent him out last week instead of this week. anyway he was supposed to arrive yesterday at 12 noon needless to say my aunt was at the airport waiting for him Delta had all his information but he was never brought him to the airport. So now my Aunt calls customer care at anypets.com they say the breeder didn't bring him because it was too hot. Well, don't you think someone should have called to inform her once he wasn't put on the plane? So now he's supposed to be flying out on the 15th. Something just doesn't sound right to me. This whole third party back & forth thing just seems odd. My Aunt has yet to talk to the breeder she's in contact with anypets.com. I hope everything goes well for her but I would be nervous. |
Not sure but I think their failure to ship as promised would be grounds for getting her money back. If she really would like to cancel the sale, she should notify her credit card company. |
My Mom & I have tried to convince her but she is so in love with this puppy but I can see if she actually held the puppy & played with him but she's only seen a picture. She doesn't know what kind of breeder she is getting the puppy from, or if there is even really a puppy. It just seems real questionable to me I have told her over & over again that my breeder has puppy's available but she is held bent on getting this puppy that she saw over the website. She said after the 15th if no Baron is delivered than she'll ask for her money back but it may be too late by then. |
Did she ever find out where in Cali the breeder is located? I'd be on the phone so fast with anypet.com telling them that they need to give me the contact information. |
The puppy ended up coming from Oklahoma, I don't know where Cali came in at maybe it was a mix up or something. (on my part) |
